For home disposal, many stores offer free recycling of rechargeable batteries. If no outlet is available in your area, it is safe to dispose of these batteries in your regular trash.
A little paint thinner around the magnet should take care of the adhesive. It usual works on double sided tapes it won't hurt the phone as long as it does not go where it is not needed. Heating the magnet would loosen it too but that's hard to just heat it.
If you bent a little; like less than 50 degrees its probably fine. But if more than that I'd buy a replacement. Flexing it to far could damage the cells inside or the plates seperating the cells.

Yes, I like to use the GEL super glue and VERY sparingly. Just a touch in the corners and you should be good. DO NOT try gluing it on the side even if it's popping out there too because it will leak into the backlight.
