You are not alone as there seems to be a bug causing DIRECTV NOW to randomly record shows people did not set up a recording for. When that happens you still can't watch the show but it will take up space in your DVR until you delete the show.
- Go to AT&T TV and scroll down to see your options.
- Swipe right to highlight your choice and select Record.
- Select All Episodes or New Episodes.

Make sure the blue line is under “More Info” and press SELECT.
- The recording options screen. In the recording options screen, arrow down to “Recording…” On older DVRs you may need to press SELECT to get to the next screen.
- Set a new stop time. Arrow over and down to get to Stop.
- Confirm your options.

You can still order PPV online or over the phone and it will work without an internet or phone connection. You can still order pay-per-view content at DIRECTV.com or using the DIRECTV app on your device. The pay-per-view content will be available on your Genie even though it isn't connected to the internet.
