Sugar ScrubsTable sugar granules are rounder than salt granules, which makes them less abrasive. This makes them perfect for the face and any areas of sensitive skin in general. Table sugar also dissolves quickly in water, which is an advantage for those seeking a milder scrub.

Soak in a cool Epsom salt bath for about 15 to 20 minutesIt may also reduce swelling and inflammation. The theory is that Epsom salt draws out toxins and increases relaxation. Just make sure to get Epsom salts marked with the USP designation.
Essential oils that are particularly helpful in treating athlete's foot include tagetes, lavender, geranium and tea tree, for their anti-fungal properties.
3.Activated Charcoal Bath Soak
- 1 cup activated charcoal.
- 1 cup ground oatmeal.
- ½ cup Himalayan salt.
- 6 drops tea tree essential oil.
- 6 drops lavender essential oil.
So, next time you step in for a bath remember to add a few drops of tea tree oil to a cup of Epsom salt, stir it up well before adding it to your bath. Remember that it is important to mix the oil with the salts first as it will prevent the oil from irritating your skin or floating on the surface of your bath.
You can also do a foot soak a few times per week. Add five drops of tea tree oil to a half-ounce of carrier oil, mix them, stir into a bucket of warm water, and soak your feet for 20 minutes.
Put the baking soda, epsom salt and peppermint tea into a bowl and combine with a whisk. At this point, it can be stored into an air tight container. When ready to use the foot soak, add 2 tablespoons to a basin of warm water.
Pumice stone or foot fileSoak the feet in warm water to soften the dead skin. Wet the pumice stone or foot file with warm water. Gently rub the pumice stone or foot file over the dead skin or callus. Use circular motions with a pumice stone and gentle back-and-forth motions with a foot file.
Sugar scrubs the dead skin cells off your feet. Coconut oil moisturizes your feet and makes them soft (3).
People also use Listerine on their feet to help remove dead skin. Listerine, which is normally used to help prevent cavities and gingivitis, has numerous active ingredients. When it comes to feet, this type of wash isn't used to combat odor, but rather for the antifungal properties found in menthol and thymol.
Soak the area of hard skin in warm water for 10 minutes. This will help to soften the skin, making it easier to remove. Gently apply a pumice stone or large nail file to the area. Start in a sideways motion, and then work your way up to small circles to remove the dead skin.
