Use a Portable Oil Extractor to place the oil into canisters, take those Oil Canisters to your Refinery and start converting the crude oil to Rocket Fuel. Place the Fuel Canisters in the Fuel Loader and click the load fuel button to have it fuel your rocket. You can now go to the Moon!

Usage. The parachute must be placed in the parachute slot when you open your inventory, to the right of the crafting area. A parachute will automatically deploy when you re-enter the atmosphere from either flying back to the Overworld in a Spaceship, or falling off of a Space Station.
To
create a space station, fly your Tier 1 or Tier 2 Rocket to
space.

Silicon (or Raw Silicon) is a crafting ingredient added in Galacticraft 2. It is obtained by mining Silicon Ore. When mined, the Silicon Ore will drop the Silicon and does not need to be smelted (much like Diamonds).
Tutorials/Pumping Oil
- Make a couple of towers of tanks on dry land.
- connect a series of pipes heading toward the top of your supply.
- Place a pump at the end of the pipes, making sure the pump isn't IN the supply.
- Directly connect a stirling engine to this pump, also making sure it isn't in the supply.
The Battery holds 5 MJ of energy. It can be charged by the Basic Solar Panel, Advanced Solar Panel, or the Energy Storage Module.
Its primary use is to be refined into fuel to power combustion engines. Pumps and waterproof pipes or buckets can be used to transport oil around.
Location & details. The oil spawns in small pools, of about 12 blocks or so. Once the Bucket is full you can use a Refinery, the oil turns into fuel, which can then be used in the rocket. NOTE: This is for GC 3 & GC 4 - in lower version you need an oil extractor and a Empty Liquid Canister.
Solar energy is a possible source of power for a lunar base. Another possibility would be to build such a power plant where there is constant or near-constant sunlight, such as at the Malapert mountain near the lunar south pole, or on the rim of Peary crater near the north pole.
Without any oxygen gear you will slowly lose health and die when on the surface. Alien Villages spawn on the moon. On the Moon the day and night cycle lasts a total of 8 minecraft days, 4 minecraft days of light, and 4 minecraft days of darkness.

The Oxygen Compressor is a Galacticraft machine used to fill empty or depleted oxygen tanks. Connect an Oxygen Pipe to the blue ring input side and a power source to the grey square input side. Place an Oxygen Tank in the bottom right slot and it will take oxygen from the input and place it into the tank.
The Tier 1 Rocket is crafted using the NASA Workbench, and to craft it you must fill up all of the respective slots on the workbench. The Tier 1 Rocket requires one Nose Cone, four Rocket Fins, one Rocket Engine , and eight Heavy Plating.
Prerequisites. Currently, Mars can only be reached with the use of a Tier 2 Rocket, as opposed to a Tier 1 Rocket. Thus, trying to fly to Mars with a Tier 1 Rocket is impossible. Tier 2 rocket schematics can be found in moon dungeons.
To fill the Empty Liquid Canister, have the canister in your inventory and use a Portable Oil Extractor to extract it. Once filled, the Oil Canister can be used to fill the Refinery to create Fuel.
