In order to obtain this ring, players will need to complete the Blackrock Depths dungeon quest The Princess Saved? for Horde and The Princess's Surprise for Alliance. Upon the completion of The Princess Saved?, players will be given a choice between Eye of Orgrimmar and Thrall's Resolve.
The average time to complete the entire instance is 4–6 hours due to its complexity: a large amount of mobs and bosses, several scripts, and many quests. The enemy level range is 48-56, and the minimum level requirement to enter is level 42.

Moira Bronzebeard is the daughter of King Magni Bronzebeard of Ironforge. Moira Bronzebeard is located in the Imperial Seat in Blackrock Depths. She assists Thaurissan by healing him, so its wise to keep her CC'd by Sapping/Freezing Trapping her (she cannot be polymorphed).
Location: Blackrock Depths is an instanced dungeon within Blackrock Mountain. It is intended for players at levels 52 and above.
To get to BRD, enter Blackrock Mountain from either southwest Searing Gorge or northwest Burning Steppes. If you enter from Searing Gorge, climb up on the giant chain that appears to your left and go down onto the big rock suspended in the center. Follow the stairs down and exit downwards onto the chain at the bottom.
The reasonable thing to do is do a lower BRD run (Prison, Houndmaster, Arena, key quest, Dark Coffer, Darkvine, Incendus) and you can tank that at 54-55. Then an Upper BRD run (Bael'gar, Angerforge, Golem, Tavern, Attunment, Emperor) and you can tank that at 57-58.
Blackrock Mountain is a zone between the Burning Steppes and the Searing Gorge, linking the two regions. It is hotly contested; between the forces of Ragnaros and his Dark Iron servants and the black dragon Nefarian with his draconid minions and orcish followers.

To get to him quickly from the main entrance:
- Go thru the gate near Oralius.
- Turn right thru the next gate and go in the door by Prospector Seymour.
- Go inside and undo the lock.
- Go upstairs to the next room and hang a left.
- Go down the corridor.
- At the next room, Angerforge will be down the stairs straight ahead.
In the Badlands, there's a road in the far west of the zone that runs North into Kargath. Take that road, going North towards Kargath, until you start to see the Kargath buildings. On your left there will be a path up into the hills that leads to a pass into Searing Gorge.
The entrance to Molten Core is at the northwest 'spoke', very close to the door you need to walk through to reach Blackrock Depths, down close to the magma. Fly down, climb the chains down, (or jump down into the magma and walk up the stony ramp that's on the north side of the chain), and speak to Lothos Riftwalker.
Starting at level 55 players are able to pick up the quest Attunement to the Core in the bottom of Blackrock Mountain from Lothos Riftwaker. Once the quest is accepted you will be asked to venture deep into Blackrock Depths to acquire the Core Fragment, near the very end of the dungeon.
In the Bar in BRD I know there are a number of ways to get the door open, do the quest for the waitress, place the darkiron beer on the floor and let the patrons drink it until they become hostile and once they are all dead fire elemental guards come after a few minutes and open the door.
In the arena it's random which boss you fight but it can be any of these bosses:
- Gorosh The Dervish.
- Anub'shiah.
- Eviscerator.
- Grizzle.
- Hedrum the Creeper.
- Ok'thor the Breaker.
There is a closer repair. Run down the ramp that leads up to the BRM entrance, turn to the right, cross the little lava bridge, the guy at the camp there repairs.
Id say the common runs;
- 7D+Emp. This has a few variations, but obviously includes 7D+Emp.
- Lava Run.
- Key/Coffer run.
- Arena runs.
- "Bar runs" usually people Bar runs simply because they dont need/want the harder bosses of 7D and Emp.
- Jail Break!
Is there a trick to tanking the Lyceum in BRD?
- Have loot set to free-for-all so anyone can loot the torches. You can buy Shadowforge Torches at the Auction House.
- Make sure the whole party is glued to you. Watch out for patrols as you move.
- Move quickly.
- Two torches can be lit at the same time at one platform/brazier if players collaborate.
