A Different Kind of War is an Arson case in L.A. Noire. This is the last case Cole Phelps takes on the Arson Desk, as well as the last case in L.A. Noire. This is also the only case that the player can play as protagonist Cole Phelps & Jack Kelso in a single case.
Gamers originally expected the developer to follow a format similar to GTA, but what sets LA. Noire apart from other games is what it isn't. It isn't a game with indistinguishable mission structures, a tongue-in-cheek adoration of sex and violence, and a free-roaming structure that limits while it expands.
Overall: Even with its flaws & redundancies, 'L.A. Noire' is still entertaining & enjoyable game. It's worth playing, even if it doesn't have much of a lasting appeal. Perfect detective game! For someone that love detective/mystery movies and books this game was a perfect way for entertainment.

Since the manufacturer has confirmed that the game is incompatible with Windows 10 OS, check if installing the game in Compatibility mode works on the computer. Compatibility mode runs the program in the current version of Windows using the settings from previous version of Windows.
Despite this success, there has yet to be a sequel made to this landmark game, which has left many fans puzzled. There have been a few ports of the game, including a recent shortened VR title called L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files, but nothing in the way of brand new content.
L.A. Noire certainly wasn't a flop—it garnered largely enthusiastic reviews, and sold nearly five million copies—but it wasn't exactly a watershed moment in gaming, either. It didn't spark a new trend in detective games or period games.
