The entrance is found within Freeside East Gate, the gate to freeside is southwest of Crimson Caravan Company and south of Freeside's North Gate, both of which should be marked on your map as you go through some of the first missions for factions.
Camp McCarran is a location in the Mojave Wasteland which serves as a major New California Republic military base in the Mojave Wasteland. It is considered a close second to Hoover Dam in terms of strategic importance. It is located south of The Strip North Gate and southwest from NCR Sharecropper Farms.
The Strip North Gate is a location in the Mojave Wasteland. It is one of only two ways to enter the Strip. The only other way to gain access is via the Las Vegas Boulevard station. The Courier will need to have at least a "Liked" reputation by the NCR to enter through the LVB station.
It can be bought from Ralph at Mick & Ralph's shop in Freeside (next to the east gate). It costs 500 bottle caps, or 375 if a Barter check of 50 is passed. The passport can also be obtained as one of The King's favors at the end of the quest G.I. Blues.
Mick & Ralph's is an active consumable and gun shop, located in the New Vegas' slum area of Freeside just northeast of the east gate. Mick sells weapons and Ralph sells consumables and special services.
The passport can be obtained by completing G.I. Blues quests for the Kings located in Freeside. On completion of the quest The King gives you a couple options for a reward, one of them is to get a free passport at Mick and Ralph's store located by Freeside's East Gate.
When he asks you who the most popular NCR president was, you answer Tandi. When asked where the original NCR capital was located, you answer Shady Sands. And when asked what the NCR's flag is emblazoned with, you answer a double-headed bear.
Yes Man becomes hostile briefly when attacked. Like Victor's, Yes Man's personality is distributed across all securitrons. As a result, he cannot be killed permanently and will respawn upon leaving the Strip. Yes Man will comment if he is attacked, his body is destroyed, or if he witnesses the Courier killing anyone.
Technically, no, you can't join the Rangers, becasue the Rangers don't have their own faction. The Rangers joined up with the NCR several years prior to the game, and are merely an elite member of the NCR.
It is possible, but difficult, to be in both the NCR and the BoS, however, the NCR will try to get you to kill the BoS. Warning; if you join the Legion or Mr. House as your primary faction, you MUST kill the BoS.
" Companions can't die in normal mode, but you do still need to be careful about losing them.
If you want to stay in the NCR's good graces, you can find NCR Ranger Combat Armor by earning a repuation of at least "Liked" and speaking with Colonel Hsu at Camp McCarran. He will give you a key to an NCR safehouse, located south of REPCONN Headquarters.
If Still in the Dark has been completed, the Courier stayed on good terms with the Brotherhood, and McNamara remains Elder, a truce can be signed between the Brotherhood and the NCR. Go to McNamara and tell him the NCR wants them destroyed, he will then offer a truce.

Activate the terminal inside and ride the secret elevator to House's life support chamber. Once inside the chamber, you will see Mr. House's statis pod. Using the nearby terminal, you can either sterilize the pod to kill House, or open the pod and kill him personally.
Here is what I do.
- Get tower code from Boyd,
- Wait outside tower but hidden until 12-1am.
- Sneak into tower, and stay at bottom of stairs.
- When prompted run to the monorail and disarm the bomb.
- Report to Col. Hsu.
- Quest complete.
You have to run into the monorail, the bomb is hidden inside a vent on the left side of the door inside the monorail.
