If you go to the store site on a browser there should be an option somewhere to disable all systems that you're activated on. If you have a PSP, Vita or PS3 it will disable those as well but it will allow you to set your PS4 as primary.

Safe Mode allows you to start your PlayStation console with only the most basic functions active. The Safe Mode options are designed to help you solve issues by rebuilding the console storage database, changing the resolution of your system or "hard" resetting the system to its factory settings.
Before you rebuild your PS4's database, rest assured that the process doesn't delete any of your saved data, it simply reorganizes and freshens up your system's files. Select the “Rebuild Database” option, making sure you don't accidentally select the “Initialize PS4” option since that will erase all your data.
If Error CE-30005-8 appears when trying to launch your game/app from an external hard drive, or even during the gameplay, it means it's failing to function properly and you have to repair it. Usually this error occurs after the PS4 system has already recognized and approved the external hard drive.
Hold the power button down until you hear two quick beeps. This will alert you that you have entered Safe Mode. Connect your DualShock 4 controller to the USB-A slot in the front of the PS4. Scroll down in the menu until you reach option 5, Rebuild Database.
If you're encountering the Error Code CE-30002-5 when trying to launch a game or other type of media that is stored on external storage, there are two scenarios that might end up triggering this issue: The external HDD or SSD is formatted to a system file format that is not supported by PS4.
If you're playing on the PlayStation 4 and have encountered an error message that reads CE-34878-0, you've come to the right place. CE-34878-0 is a general error, one that indicates the game you were playing has crashed. Hopefully you'll be able to just restart the game after the crash and pick up where you left off.
Try the following steps
- Eject the disc from the console, making sure it's not dirty, scratched or damaged.
- If the disc is in good condition please try rebuilding the system's database using Safe Mode option 5.
- If the error occurs again, please contact SIEA for additional technical support.
Application data on hard disk drive is likely to be partially corrupted. Back up your game save data on a USB storage device or in the PlayStation Plus Online Storage.
The only thing you can do to try and speed up copying on your PS4 is to install a faster internal hard drive. Your best bet is an SSD, as these are generally faster than regular hard drives. However, no matter how quick the drive is in your PS4, you're still going to have to put up with copying.
There are several reasons that make PS4 become slow and lagging, such as corrupted system files, malfunctioning USB device connected, or a defective hard drive.
It's slow on your PS4, because your internet connection is slow. Upgrade your internet connection (pay more money for faster speeds) and your updates will download faster.
According to Snellman's tests, the artificial latency changes caused by the PS4 can range from a download window of 7kB to a 128kB receive window. That means your download speed can take up to 100 times longer than it should. This only happens when you're download games from the PSN.
The game is saving part of itself to the system's hard drive. The amount of data that has to be saved before you can start will vary per title. Cerny said that there had been some internal discussions at Sony about having the PS4 auto-delete installed data from games that players hadn't used in a while.
It's not to copy into the system. The files are all stashed on the disc, not the system. Once it goes into the PS4 it mounts the files onto it meaning that once the disc comes out, there are no files there to run.

PS4 users have tested downloading in Rest Mode vs downloading while the console is powered on as normal, and the general consensus is that it does download games faster. It also helps to speed up downloads if you use an ethernet cable, which has proven to be more effective than a Wi-Fi connection.
