If a friend or family member joins Nextdoor via an invitation you send them, you will be given credit (e.g. the leaf icon will be displayed next to your name on your profile page) no matter which neighborhood they join.
Saying "Thanks!" on Nextdoor lets your neighbors know you appreciate their contributions. Locate the post you want to thank in the Newsfeed. Click below the post.
If we need further information to resolve a report, the Nextdoor Support team will follow up with you. Your name will not be disclosed to the reported member. The Report button will change to say “Reported.” You will not be able to re-report a member until the initial report is resolved.

For privacy reasons, we don't disclose the name of the member who has reported your content. We also notify your neighborhood Lead(s), who may review the content to determine whether it violates the Guidelines.
It's under Settings>Location Settings>Neighbors Settings. You might have to select the old address first. Then it gives you the option to edit the address but within that option you can click the red trashcan and delete the location.
Muting a member removes all the content the member has posted to the neighborhood or groups from your view of Nextdoor. Additionally, you will no longer receive email notifications for this member's posts or comments.

There is no block feature on Nextdoor. Another user can mute you which keeps them from seeing any content you post but you can still see their posts. There is no way of knowing if someone muted you.
Nextdoor makes it safe to share online the kinds of things you share with your neighbors in person. Every neighbor must verify their address in the neighborhood. Every neighbor must use their real name. Nextdoor is securely encrypted using the HTTPS Internet protocol.

- Open the Nextdoor app.
- Tap at the top of the screen.
- Select Post.
- Select For Sale and Free as the category.
- Choose the category of your item.
- Add photos of your item. Tap Next.
- Add a title. We recommend using the name of the item.
- Set a price for your item, or mark it as free.
Here are a few things to keep in mind about Nextdoor's privacy tools and settings: You can choose to display your full address or just your street name. Your street names or address will only be visible to your closest neighbors. Nextdoor will never sell your personal information to third-party advertisers.

- Locate the post that you would like to delete in the Newsfeed.
- OR find an older post you've authored by clicking your profile picture in the top right, clicking 'Your profile' beneath your name.
- Click to the right of your name on the post or reply.
- Select Delete.
Any change you make to your email settings will update automatically.
- Open the Nextdoor for Android app.
- Tap in the bottom right corner.
- Select Notifications.
- Select Email notifications.
- Toggle to None for Digest emails and Updates from your local area.
As stated in our Member Agreement, Nextdoor assumes no responsibility for the risk of transactions. Nextdoor recommends not including your phone number, email, or home address in For Sale and Free posts. You'll be able to share contact information with interested members through private message.
Posts or replies may be deleted by the author at any time. Most times it is more useful to edit your post or close the discussion rather than delete your post. If you've made an error in your post, you can edit your post rather than delete it.
Tap in the bottom right corner. Select Settings toward the bottom of the list. Select Nearby Neighborhoods. Check the box next to Nearby Neighborhoods you wish to follow.
- Click 'For Sale and Free' from the left menu on your Nextdoor homepage.
- Click 'Your items' in the upper left.
- Click 'Discount'
- Apply suggested discount.
