Provide the author name, article name in quotation marks, title of the Web magazine in italics, publisher name, publication date, medium of publication, and the date of access. Remember to use n.p. if no publisher name is available and n.d. if no publishing date is given.
The name cited in the reference should be that of the commenter, not of the author of the post. Provide the full date of the comment. Insert "Re:" in front of the title of the blog post, with the text "[Blog comment]" following the title. The URL should be the direct URL to the specific comment, not to the blog post.
Reference the person making the comment, but also state that it is a comment on the original author's name and article title. You should give the blog or newspaper title, followed by the full date of the comment.
Cite web postings as you would a standard web entry. Provide the author of the work, the title of the posting in quotation marks, the web site name in italics, the publisher, and the posting date. Follow with the date of access. Include screen names as author names when author name is not known.
Citing new mediaIf the author's name is not available, provide the screen name. If it is the original blog post use [Web log post]; if it is a reply or comment made to the original post, use [Web log comment].
