Add another 30 minutes if you need cellular. If you don't know your passwords allow 4 hours. It should not take too long to pair the watch. Perhaps allow an hour or so to pair and sync your watch and to explore and configure some of the settings to your preferences.
Your Apple Watch will work without an iPhone, but depending on what model of Watch you have, you might not have access to every feature. You'll need to have access to either a cellular or Wi-Fi connection if you want to use the majority of your Apple Watch's features without an iPhone.
Install apps you already have on iPhone
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
