Outschool collects a 30% service fee from all paid enrollments. We will send your payment 7-10 days after your class is scheduled to start. Payment is via Paypal to an email address you specify. You will need to pay tax on your earnings and report them appropriately.
Outschool pays teachers for their classes between 7 and 14 days from the class' start date. If you want to earn a regular income on Outschool, you have to place your best foot forward to receive positive reviews and returning students. Most of my income comes from students who return to my weekly classes.
Most classes on Outschool are live online classes that meet over group video chat at scheduled times. A live class could meet just once, or many times over a semester. Most classes also involve independent work before or after the live meetings.
