To defeat a Stone Talus, Link can climb onto its body and attack the Ore Deposit on its back, usually located on top or at the back of the boss. Link can inflict major damage by using a double-handed weapon or Bomb Arrows. After taking damage, the Stone Talus will attempt to throw Link off by shaking itself.

As it turns out, The Stranger is actually a moniker for the god known as Baldur. He's based on the god Baldr in Norse mythology, the offspring of Odin and Frigg, brother to Thor, said to have been so fair in appearance that he cast a light from his body wherever he went.
The Stranger is the first real boss that players face off against in God of War, and while much isn't known about him at first, many players are curious to learn more about this being that gives Kratos such a run for his money.
His myth is very different. Asclepius is said to have been killed by Zeus as Asclepius had brought back Hippolytus back from the dead in exchange for gold. This angers Hades who asks Zeus to kill him. Zeus kills him with his thunderbolt.
Poseidon then made a desperate attempt to escape and survive, but is unable to reach the edge and is grabbed by Kratos, who then proceeds to crush his eyes and finally break his neck, killing the sea god once and for all.
Hades ruled the Underworld and was therefore most often associated with death and feared by men, but he was not Death itself — it is Thanatos, son of Nyx and Erebus, who is the actual personification of death, although Euripides' play "Alkestis" states fairly clearly that Thanatos and Hades were one and the same deity,
His son Baldur wants Kratos dead and chases after him (that is, you) and Atreus for most of the game. Much like Norse mythology, God of War's fiction ties these two characters together.
He later avenges the deaths of his family and becomes the God of War after killing Ares. Kratos is eventually revealed to be a demigod and the son of Zeus, although Zeus later betrays him. The God of War franchise is a flagship title for the PlayStation brand and Kratos is one of its most popular characters.

Although Gaia interrupted and tried to kill Kratos and Zeus, she was destroyed by Kratos, who then apparently defeated Zeus. Zeus returned in spirit form and attacked Kratos, who retreated into his psyche.
Gaia is killed when Kratos impales Zeus against her heart with the Blade of Olympus, which apparently also kills Zeus. Kratos then discards the blades and beats Zeus to death with his bare hands, ending the reign of the Olympian Gods.
Kratos then joined the Spartan army in Rhodes, intent on destruction. Zeus, however, weakened Kratos and tricked him into abandoning his godly powers into the Blade of Olympus, which Zeus used to kill Kratos. Although he overcame all obstacles, Kratos was stunned at Zeus's betrayal and swore revenge as he died.
