How to use Google Drive
- Step 1: Open the app. On your Android device, find and open the Google Drive app.
- Step 2: Upload or create files. You can upload files from your phone or tablet, or create files in Google Drive.
- Step 3: Share and organize files.
On your computer, go to drive.google.com. You'll see "My Drive," which has: Files and folders you upload or sync. Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms you create.
Upload & view files
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Drive app.
- Tap Add .
- Tap Upload.
- Find and tap the files you want to upload. To upload photos or videos, tap the photos and videos you want and tap Upload.
Many apps cache data. This way it saves you time and money since your documents are already on the phone. When needed, the app/iPhone will delete the cache to free up space. Just make sure nothing is in the "Offline" folder in the app.
Browse and open files and folders
- Tap Browse at the bottom of the screen, then tap an item on the Browse screen. If you don't see the Browse screen, tap Browse again.
- To open a file, location, or folder, tap it. Note: If you haven't installed the app that created a file, a preview of the file opens in Quick Look.
Open “Files” and open the video that you downloaded. Tap the square with an arrow in the bottom left corner and select “Save video”. Go to your camera roll and select videos. The video may be the most recent download or further back in your gallery as videos sort by date published.
1.2 iPhone Recording Video FormatThe default recording format for iPhone is H. 264 QuickTime files in MOV format. But, if you have changed your iPhone recording setting into the "High Efficiency" option, your iPhone will capture media in HEVC format, also known as H. 265.

- Add an Add-on To Your Mozilla Firefox.
- Paste your view only video link on the URL bar.

How to download files from Google Drive to iPhone:
- Open the Google Drive app on your iPhone.
- Tap the menu icon next to the file you wish to download.
- Tap "Open In".
- Select the app to open the file in, and it will be downloaded to your device.
2.Save video to camera roll and move to Google Drive
- Open the app and search the video on YouTube.
- While playing choose the 'Download' option.
- Close the screen and find the file on your downloads folder.
- Tap on the video and chose the last button on your bottom right.
- Select 'Share'
- Click on "Save Video"
Go to google.com/drive/download/backup-and-sync/ in your computer's web browser. Google Drive's "Backup and Sync" feature allows you to upload files to your Google Drive account simply by moving the files into a folder on your computer while connected to the Internet. Click Download Backup and Sync.
How to download files to iPhone and iPad
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to Safari and open the file you are trying to download.
- Tap on the Share button, which will bring up the Share sheet.
- Select Save to Files.
- At this point, you may rename the file and select a specific location before saving it.
Download files from
Google Drive with a computer,
Android, or iOS device.
Download a file
- Go to drive.google.com.
- Click a file to download. To download multiple files, press Command (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) click any other files.
- Right-click. click Download.
The most important factor is the video size. If the video you want to upload is a 2 GB video, it will take about 1 hour for the video to be uploaded to Google Drive, and then it will take an additional 20 minutes to process to ensure that it is displayed correctly after playback.
If you're trying to download a document, photo, or video to your Android device from Drive and it's not working, there could be several reasons why. Another possibility is that you don't have enough storage on your device to save the downloaded file. Check your phone's storage and delete files to make room.
Reasons Files From Google Drive Cannot DownloadThere are two things that cause someone can't download from Google Drive. The first Google Drive limits the number of downloads of the file. The reason is that in the span of 24 hours, many people access the file. As a result, you cannot download the file in Google Drive.
On your iPhone, go to Settings > your account > iCloud > Photos to check if you have enabled the “Optimize iPhone Storage” option within iCloud Photo Library. To download the videos, you need to make sure that your iPhone has enough storage space and you're connecting to a stable Wi-Fi or a cellular network.
Enable Cookies. For many Google Chrome users, the cookies for Google Drive were blocked, and that's why they were unable to download files. To enable cookies, open drive.google.com in Chrome. Restart the page or the browser, and you should be able to download the files again.
To enable this feature:
- Open your Google Apps file.
- Click the blue Share button at the top right corner.
- Click the Advanced link in the lower right hand corner.
- Check the box, Disable options to download, print, and copy for commenters and viewers.
- Click the Save changes box.
Option 2.Transfer Videos from Computer to iPhone Using iTunes File Sharing
- Connect your iPhone to your PC or laptop with a USB cable and launch iTunes.
- Unlock your device and trust the computer.
- Click the device icon and choose "File Sharing".
- Choose the app you want to import the videos to.
