There are 2 ways you can view your photos and videos saved to ThePhotoStick:
- From inside ThePhotoStick software (same for Windows and Mac):
- From your Operating Systems File Manager: ThePhotoStick stores your photo and video files on the USB stick in the directory path: <ThePhotoStick drive>My_Files<computer name>.
If your photos are visible in My Files but are not in the Gallery app, these files may be set as hidden. This prevents Gallery and other apps from scanning for media. To solve this, you can change the option for showing hidden files.
Find the file manager appBy far the easiest way to find downloaded files on Android is to look in your app drawer for an app called Files or My Files. Google's Pixel phones come with a Files app, while Samsung phones come with an app called My Files.
It's much better to keep all your photos in one location, and a cloud storage site is probably the best bet as you can access it from any device. A few cloud storage sites are Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDrive.
Choose Start>All Programs>Windows Photo Gallery. This will open the photo gallery window on your computer so you can access photos and videos. To view just the photographs, click “Pictures.” This will give you a thumbnail view of your photographs.
Normally, they are stored in the Pictures folder.
You can get your pics back on your phone in no time with the Cloud app. When you are in the Cloud app on your phone, click on Photos & Videos. In the top right corner, click on the Menu key (3 dots). Then click on Select Months.
How To Quickly Sort Through Thousands Of Photos
- Step 1: Decide on a photo editing program. I personally use Lightroom to sort, cull images, and do overall tonal adjustments for all of my photos.
- Step 2: Figure out a method of organizing your images.
- Step 3: Divide & Conquer.
- Step 4: Pare down your favorites even further.
