How to view iCloud Photos on Android
- Open a web browser on your Android device.
- Go to icloud.com.
- Tap the Settings button (three-dot icon) on the browser page.
- Select Desktop Site. It will change the site into a desktop version.
Open Google Drive on your device and tap the three horizontal bars in the top left corner. In the left sidebar, scroll down and tap the entry for Backups. In the resulting window (Figure D), you will see the device you are using listed at the top as well as all other backed up devices.
Your backups are stored in a MobileSync folder. You can find them by typing ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup into Spotlight. You can also find the backups for specific devices from Finder. Click Finder on your Mac's Dock.
Click on the device icon in iTunes. In the sidebar on the left side of the iTunes window, click Photos. Click the box next to "Sync Photos." If instead you see "iCloud Photos is On," all of your photos and videos are already on all of your devices that use iCloud Photos.
How to access your iPhone backups on a Mac through iTunes
- To access your backups, simply go to iTunes > Preferences. Go to your Preferences in iTunes.
- When the Preferences box pops up, select Devices.
- Here you'll see all of your currently stored backups.
- Select "Show in Finder" and you can copy the backup.
Photos aren't stored in iTunes so you cannot view them there. They may be stored in whatever you use to manage your Photos such as Apple's iPhoto or similar. Or they could just simply be stored on your computer somewhere. iTunes does not store photos.
If you have photos synced to your iOS device from iTunes and then turn on iCloud Photos, you'll see "Photos and Videos Synced from iTunes will be Removed." The original versions of the photos and videos will stay on your computer and the copies are removed from your iOS device.

To view the files and folders of the iTunes backup data that is currently on an iPhone or iPad, first open iExplorer on your Mac or PC. You can also access the backups section on the device by clicking Backups through the sidebar on the left. You'll then be prompted to make a backup selection.
