Resize a column or table automatically with AutoFit
- Select your table.
- On the Layout tab, in the Cell Size group, click AutoFit.
- Do one of the following. To adjust column width automatically, click AutoFit Contents. To adjust table width automatically, click AutoFit Window.
The "Match case" option will find only those instances that are written the same way: for example, if you search for "Word" and set "Match case", Apache OpenOffice will find "Word", "Words", "Wording" but not "word".
To select a single word, quickly double-click that word. To select a line of text, place your cursor at the start of the line, and press Shift + down arrow. To select a paragraph, place your cursor at the start of the paragraph, and press Ctrl + Shift + down arrow.
