Block someone
- On your Android device, open the Voice app .
- Open the tab for Messages , Calls or Voicemail .
- Block the contact: Open the text message. Tap More People & options Block number. Open the call or voicemail message. Tap More Block number.
- Tap Block to confirm.
On some Android phones, you may be able to disable voicemail by opening your phone's settings, tapping Call or Phone, tapping Voicemail, tapping your voicemail number, and deleting it.
So we'll explain how to
remove voicemail notification on
Galaxy S7 and
Galaxy S7 Edge.
You will have to access some settings for this purpose:
- Go to Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select Phone (All tab)
- Select Clear Data.
- Turn off your Samsung smartphone.
- After about 10 seconds turn the device back on.
How do I switch voicemail off? If you don't want Voicemail 901 on your phone, dial 1760 free from your mobile to switch it off.
Set as active.
- Open the Phone app .
- Press and hold "1" to call your voicemail.
- Enter your PIN and press "#".
- Press "*" for the menu.
- Press "4" to change settings.
- Press "1" to change your greeting.
- Follow the recorded instructions.
How to check your voicemail. When you get a voicemail, you can check your message from the notification on your phone. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap Voicemail .
Your voicemail box can hold a total of 30 messages. New messages are kept for 14 to 30 days, depending on the type of voicemail. If you don't save them during that time, they are automatically deleted. Saved messages are kept for 30 days, and if you don't delete them during that time, they are automatically deleted.
How do I reset my voicemail PIN?
- Change PIN on iPhone. Go to Settings>Phone>Change Voicemail Password.
- Change PIN on Pixel. Go to Settings>Phone>Voicemail>Change PIN. Enter your old PIN, then enter the your new PIN.
- Change PIN on other Android phones. Dial *86 from your phone. Follow the prompts to change your PIN.
To record a new greeting:
- Open the Google Voice app .
- At the top left, tap Menu. Settings.
- In the Voicemail section, tap Voicemail greeting.
- Tap Record a greeting.
- Tap Record .
- Record your greeting and when you're done, tap Stop .
- Choose what you want to do with the recording:
In the Teams app, click your Profile Picture, click Settings, and click Calls. In the Voicemail section, click Configure voicemail. To record a new voicemail greeting, click Record a greeting and follow the prompts to record your message.
The organisations do have access to chat and conversation. However, private audio calls are not monitored with in MS Teams. There is no capability in MS teams that would allow anyone outside private call to record your conversation.
Recording your Teams MeetingYou can record Video, Audio, and shared screen activities for your Teams meeting. The recording is automatically saved to Microsoft Stream so later you can download, manage or even share it with your organization. What's the benefit?
The old way and you may be able to do it this way, is go to 365 admin portal > Settings > Services and addins > Microsoft Teams. Once there, pick the license type you want to configure, and under calls and meetings is the option to disable Private calling.
To select the mic, speaker, and camera you want Teams to use for calls and meetings, click your profile picture at the top of Teams, then Settings > Devices. Under Audio devices, pick the speaker and mic you want Teams to use by default.
Call a phone number from Teams
- If the person you want to reach is in your contacts list, click Contacts, find the person you want to call, and then click Call .
- If you've called people before (or if they've called you), they'll be in your call history.
- You can also access your voicemail and call people from that list.
When someone calls you, you'll get a notification that lets you accept or decline the call.
- Click Accept with audio. to answer with audio only.
- Click Accept with video. to accept the call and enable video as well.
- Click Decline call. to decline the call and go on with your day.
Auto-Attendant (or automated attendant) is a term commonly used in telephony to describe a voice menu system that allows callers to be transferred to an extension without going through a telephone operator or receptionist. For a caller to find a user on a phone system, a dial-by-name directory is usually available.
