Why did my Samsung calendar events disappear? If you are unable to see an event in your Calendar app, your phone's sync settings may not be configured properly. Sometimes clearing data in your Calendar app can also help resolve the issue.
The problem can be easily solved by removing and re-adding the affected account in the → Android OS Settings → Accounts & Sync (or similar). If you saved your data only locally, you need your manual backup right now. The local calendars are kept only locally (as the name says) in the calendar storage on your device.
Clear your Calendar app data
- Open the Settings app on your device (not the "Google Settings" app).
- Tap the Apps or Apps & notifications section.
- Tap App info to view the list of all apps.
- Select Calendar .
- Tap Storage Clear data.
- If you see "Calendar Storage" in the list, clear data for that app too.
Corrupted Files In The CacheNow when these cache files become corrupted, you may see your Google Calendar events disappear. That's because these corrupted files hamper smooth calendar events syncing. Therefore, any changes you made in your Google calendar fail to reflect as an updated calendar.
To clear all events from your primary calendar:
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the bottom left, hover over the primary calendar.
- Click Options Settings and sharing.
- Under “Settings for my calendars,” click Remove calendar.
- Under “Remove calendar,” click Delete.
To find the Calendar app, swipe up or down on the home screen to reveal the Apps screen. If you can't see the app on the Apps screen, look in the "Samsung folder" or use the Search function.
Set up your calendar
- Open the Google Calendar app .
- Tap Menu Settings .
- Tap General to change the start of the week, device time zone, default event duration, and other settings.
Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone
- Open the Calendars app.
- Tap the unwanted Calendar event.
- Tap Unsubscribe from this Calendar at the bottom of the screen.
- To confirm, tap Unsubscribe.
Check the sync settings.Make sure that the Calendar sync feature is enabled on all your devices. You should also check that auto sync is enabled on both your Samsung and Google account.
Open your phone's settings and choose “Apps” or “Apps & notifications.” Find “Apps” in your Android phone's Settings. Find Google Calendar in your massive list of apps and under “App Info,” select “Clear Data.” You'll then need to turn off your device then turn it back on again. Clear data from Google Calendar.
Here's how to share with people you choose:
- In Calendar, click Share, and then click the name of the calendar you want to share.
- Click Share with people you choose.
- Click the To box and enter the email address for someone you want to share with.
Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner. Click on the Accounts under Settings. Click on your account and select Change settings. Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the Sync options.
For Android: Open phone Settings > Applications > Outlook > Make sure Contacts is enabled. Then open the Outlook app and go to Settings > tap on your account > tap Sync Contacts.
How to Sync Two Google Calendars
- Click Settings and choose the Calendar tab.
- Click the Sharing link and input the email address of your main calendar.
- Choose Modify to allow your main account to add and remove appointments.
- Select save.
- Log in to your main calendar.
My Calendar is the device calendar and only syncs with Kies. Samsung calendar syncs with your Samsung account. It says Samsung calendar in the settings but the only calendar app is Calendar.
Go to Settings > Backup & reset. Tap Factory data reset. On the next screen, tick the box marked Erase phone data. You can also choose to remove data from the memory card on some phones - so be careful what button you tap on.
Just start it, select "Edit Calendars", then "Choose Calendar", and select the calendar you want to remove. Then click "Delete Calendar" and confirm if you are certain you have selected the right one.
click the primary calendar (should be the first on the list), scroll down and hit Delete. This will reset you back to the google default calendar.
In Android 2.3 and 4.0, tap on the
“Accounts & sync” menu item. In Android 4.1, tap “Add Account” under the “Accounts” category. Click “Corporate”
Step Two:
- Log in.
- Tap “Sync”
- You should see “iPhone” or “Windows Phone” under “Manage Devices”
- Select your device.
- Select which calendars you'd like to sync.
- Hit “Save”
