- Cave Sulfur is found in "Sulfur Plants" in the caves around your crashed pod.
- This cheerful-looking fish will swim towards you and explode if you get too close to his sulfur.
- Assuming you survived the Crashfish, you can harvest the yellow Cave Sulfur from his plant home.
Watch your oxygen as you look for metal salvage and get yourself at least three pieces for your first tank and potentially a survival knife. Then take the metal salvage to the fabricator and craft titanium. This tank gives you 30 extra seconds of oxygen (Total of 75 seconds). They take up four slots of your inventory.
The maximum possible depth the player can reach is 8,192 meters by going down the dropoff at the Crater Edge: passing this will immediately warp the player and any vehicle they are in to Lifepod 5.
Depth MultiplierAs you build deeper underwater, negative influences on Hull Integrity are multiplied. Negative changes are multiplied by the depth multiplier: a window that is built with a x1. 5 depth multiplier will give -1.5 Hull Integrity (instead of -1.0).
To find the Welder navigate to Personal > Tools in the Fabricator creation list. Once you have crafted the Welder, you can then repair the various parts of your escape pod, as well as craft actual base pieces underneath the surface of the water.
The real consequences form ignoring the Aurora are: Can't explore the area around Aurora without the Radiation Suit, meaning you can have a Still Suit or a Reinforced Suit if you repair the reactor. You won't have any other way of getting past the Lava Zone, since the PRAWN can go to the deepest point in the game.
During an attempted gravity slingshot maneuver around Planet 4546B, the Aurora was struck by a mysterious energy pulse, resulting in catastrophic hull failure, leading to its crash landing on the surface of the planet. It is later revealed that it was the Quarantine Enforcement Platform that shot it down.
You have to dive into the water in the Prawn room and swim through all those scary looking pipes. You'll find a path through (to your right when facing the water) and make it into more rooms. Just keep going and you'll find an exit.
There's a fire extinguisher on the left in a box, or you could use your own. Make sure to remove the flames entirely - even a small amount can hurt you and spring back into a bigger inferno. At that point you can move through the doorway, and congratulations! You're inside the Aurora!
Inside there are several sections that comprise the hulking Aurora. These include the Administration Office, Cargo Bay 3, Seamoth Bay, the Locker Room, the PRAWN Suit Bay, the Laboratory, Living Quarters, and the Drive Room.
To repair hull breaches, use a Welder tool on the breach. Once all breaches have been repaired, the water will be drained by the base artificial intelligence. Some base components, like Fabricators, require power. Place a power generator outside a base to give them the juice they need to function.
These are: Cyclops Hull fragments (Mushroom Forest, Sea Treader's Path) Cyclops Engine fragments (Aurora, Crag Field, Crash Zone, Mountains, and the Underwater Islands Wreck) Cyclops Bridge fragments (Crash Zone, Mushroom Forest and Sea Treader's Path)
r/subnauticaThey won't aggro on a Cyclops with the engine off. If they are already moving in to attack then turning the engine off will not prevent them from making at least one attack and then wandering off. I've had more than once a ghost leviathan attack my cyclops with everything off. So, yes, they do it.
You will die if you're IN the boat when it pops, but its implied you'll get a warning so you can bail out. The boat itself is completely wrecked, yes.
A hologram of the vessel, showing the locations of damage will appear near the control panel of the Cyclops. This will enable you to check what components have to be repaired. Next, go outside and find the damaged hull sections. Treat them with the repair tool.
Aaand just do the same thing. Let him attack you straight with his head, let him push you with himself and constanly deal damage to him with your drill arms. After he leaves you, repair prawn and repeat everything untill he dies. The fight will take around 6-7 "rounds" after he will finally go down.
The Cyclops Docking Bay Repair Module is an upgrade module for the Cyclops that causes a docked Seamoth or Prawn Suit to be repaired. It can only be crafted by using the Cyclops Upgrade Fabricator after unlocking the blueprint from a data box, which can be found within certain Wrecks.
Stalker, sandshark, boneshark and warper can't hurt it. One hit from a reaper, ghost or sea dragon can bring the cyclops below 80%, which will require you to go outside to repair the breaches. 5-8 hits can destroy the sub if not repaired. Enemies will wait a while after attacking before they attack again, though.
The reason was that there was not enough space between my Cyclops and the ground. Just needed to elevate a little bit the Cyclops.
Build a piece of corridor with the end facing where you want the front of the Cyclops to dock, and build a hatch at that end. Build two vertical sections on top of it, and then another piece of corridor, but with the broad side facing the front of the Cyclops.
