If you want to view the passwords stored in iCloud Keychain
- Tap Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Website & App Passwords.
- Use Face ID or Touch ID when you're prompted.
- Tap a website to view your password.
How to Retrieve a Saved Web Password in iOS
- Open the Settings app and head to “Safari”
- Under the General section, choose “Passwords & Autofill”
- Scroll down and tap on “Saved Passwords”, this will bring up a screen showing all website URL's with a password saved that you can see and recover.
Launch Safari, open Safari's preferences, and click the Passwords tab. All the websites for which you've saved passwords in Safari will appear in a list. Enable the Show Passwords option and enter your login password when prompted. Passwords will be listed to the right of each site.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or earlier: Tap Settings > Safari > Passwords. Use Touch ID or enter your device passcode. Tap a website to view your password.
If you have accepted an untrusted certificate in the past but want to delete it, you can use the Keychain Access tool to remove it from your system. Double-click on "Keychain Access". Select "Certificates" from the list of categories. Click on the certificate you want to delete.

- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
- To the right of the address bar, tap More .
- Tap Settings. Passwords.

Select “Settings” near the bottom of the pop-up menu. Locate and tap on “Passwords” partway down the list. Within the password menu, you can scroll through all of your saved passwords. The list is sorted in alphabetical order based on the website's URL.
Google Chrome
- Open a Chrome Window.
- Click on the three dots on the top right corner. Select Settings.
- Select Passwords.
- To delete an individual password, click on the three dots next to it and select Remove.
- To delete all passwords, go to Clear Browsing Data from Settings -> Advanced and select Passwords.

How secure is your password?
- Length. That's a bit too short for a password.
- Avoid known words or common passwords. You seem to be using a common dictionary word or frequently used password (such as password1).
- Add mixed case letters.
- Avoid repeated characters. Your password repeats the same letters, numbers, and/or symbols.
A. Allowing the Chrome browser to save your login and password information for website accounts is safer now than it used to be with the Smart Lock security feature that Google introduced last year for its Chrome software. Google is not the only browser creator to offer a built-in password manager.
Tap on the three dot menu icon.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Safari.
- Select Autofill.
- Swipe Names and Passwords off.
If you want to just delete specific autofill entries:
- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar and select Settings.
- Click “Show advanced settings” and find the “Passwords and forms” section.
- Select Manage Autofill settings.
- In the dialog that appears, select the entry you'd like to delete from the list.
Start or stop saving passwords
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
- To the right of the address bar, tap More .
- Tap Settings. Passwords.
- At the top, turn Save passwords on or off.
Firefox and Safari save your passwords in your browser settings (under security) and if you have access to the device, you can open all the passwords without any login step. A password manager stores your passwords offline and requires additional authentication. This is the safest option.
If Safari doesn't autofill your account names, passwords, or credit cards, or doesn't ask to save them to begin with, check the AutoFill and Private Browsing settings on your device. Tap Settings > Safari > AutoFill. For account names and passwords, check that Names and Passwords is on.
To delete a saved username, use the "Down" arrow on your keyboard to highlight that username, and then press "Shift-Delete" (on a Mac, press "Fn-Backspace").
How to delete a saved password from iCloud Keychain on iPhone and iPad
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap Passwords & Accounts.
- Tap Website & App Passwords.
- Use Touch ID if prompted to sign in to see your passwords.
- Tap the login details for the website for which you want to remove the password.
To reset your keyboard dictionary, head into your iPhone's settings and tap on General. Scroll down till you see Reset and tap on Reset Keyboard Dictionary. You'll then be prompted to enter your passcode (if you have one set) and then have the option to fully reset the predictive words from showing up.
Select “Settings” near the bottom of the pop-up menu. Locate and tap on “Passwords” partway down the list. Within the password menu, you can scroll through all of your saved passwords.
Click “Safari” from the Safari menu and then click “Preferences.” Click the “AutoFill” tab. Click the three check boxes next to the “Using Info from my Contacts Card,” “User Names and Passwords” and “Other Forms” options to uncheck them.
How to delete saved passwords on iPad, iPod, iPhone
- Open the 'Settings' menu.
- Click on 'Safari' then under general, click on 'Passwords & AutoFill'
- Click on 'Saved Passwords'
- If your device has a passcode, you will need to enter it.
- A list of saved accounts will be displayed.
- Click on the account you want to delete the saved password for.
- Click 'Delete' in the top left.
