Fraps is a Windows application that helps you to capture your computer desktop easily. You can also record all the activities on your computer desktop. Game enthusiasts use it to record their gameplay action to share it with their friends and families.

record a
game if you have a supported device and
Android 5.0 and up.
Record your gameplay
- Open the Play Games app .
- Select a game.
- At the top of the game details page, tap Record gameplay .
- Select a video quality setting.
- Tap Launch.
- Tap Start recording .
- After 3 seconds, your game will start recording.
Open Fraps.
Select the "FPS" tab at the top of the Fraps window (look for a yellow "99".) Here, you will see options for Fraps' benchmarking and frame rate overlay functions. Launch Windows Live Movie Maker after installation and click the “Add Videos and Photos” button on the ribbon. Browse to your Fraps video file and double-click it. Click the “Save Movie” button on the toolbar. Select a preset and save the file to your computer to convert the video to WMV format.
When compared to MSI afterburner, FRAPS isn't accurate. Afterburner reports much lower framerates when the game stutters or dips. Fraps kinda just hangs at a higher number. I don't use FRAPs any more when I want to find out the fps.
Swipe down twice on your notification shade to access the Quick Settings section, and then select Screen Recording (on an LG phone) or Screen Recorder (on a Samsung phone). Then, tap the Start button, and wait for the short countdown to complete to begin recording.
It doesn't lower fps unless you're recording. It will lower fps in game if you have it set to record at low fps. Recording with FRAPS caps your framerate to match the video recording speed. If you're recording with FRAPS at 30 fps, your game will not run above 30 fps.
Fraps is primarily a frames per second monitor, and the FPS readout will record along with Fraps video by default. To remove the counter from the video, click the “FPS” tab, then select “hide overlay” on the right side of the window.
Once in the console, type in the command "cl_showfps 1" without the quotes to make CS:GO show fps. With that entered, the game will start displaying your framerate. In case you don't want to see it anymore, the command to remove it is "cl_showfps 0". Remember, "1" toggles the FPS meter on and "0" toggles it off.
