Text messages (SMS, MMS, iMessage) from blocked contacts (numbers or email addresses) do not appear anywhere on your device. Unblocking the contact does NOT show any messages sent to you when it was blocked. Unblocking the contact does NOT show any messages sent to you when it was blocked.
When you block a contact, their texts go nowhere. The person whose number you've blocked won't receive any sign that their message to you was blocked; their text will simply sit there looking as though it were sent and not yet delivered, but in fact, it will be lost to the ether.
Your going to want to open messaging app. tap on settings upper right three vertical dots. There should be a blocked messages tab. Inside that tab you will have blocked numbers to wich you can add or delete blocked numbers.
How to Send the Message: For sending the message,all you got to know is the "facebook username" of the person who has blocked you. Obviously,if the person has blocked you,you won't be able to visit his/her profile. But finding the facebook username is really a cakewalk.
On the application main screen, select Call and SMS filter. and select Blocked calls or Blocked SMS. If calls or SMS messages are blocked, the corresponding information is displayed on the status bar. To view details, tap More on the status bar.
The person who you've blocked will remain in the conversation. You'll receive a notification that someone who you've blocked is also in the Hangout and, if you choose to open the Hangout, you'll be able to see the person's messages. Other people in the group won't be notified that you've blocked this person.
On your computer, go to Hangouts in Gmail or at hangouts.google.com. At the left, point to the name of the person whose contact info you want to find. If you don't see a person's contact info, use the Android or iPhone & iPad app.
Click on the icon circled on the bottom of the left corner to open your contact list. Go through the list and see if you can find the name of the person who you think has blocked you. If their name appears, then they've not blocked you.
Active now means you have your phone turned on, and you're using it. If you "sign out of Hangouts", you won't show as active anymore.
To resolve the error message, “message failed to send”, do the following: Change the default SMS app. Tap the navigation button in Hangouts, scroll to settings, then tap SMS. Clear the cache and data in Hangouts.

Besides chat and free voice calling (within the United States), Hangouts is seamless with the rest of Google Apps (most notably Calendar), and you no longer even need a Google+ account to use it.
They probably won't be directly hacking you, unless they sent you a file and you opened it, but that depends on direct details. If you are using an .exe version of hangouts (which I believe exists) can, indeed, grab your IP and hack it.
You'll see any chat rooms you've been invited to. You can reply to conversations, say something new, or directly message anyone else on the team. If they haven't logged in yet, they'll get an invite email—or if they already use Hangouts video chat, they'll get the direct message there or in Gmail.

- click on the 3-dots (on the right side of selection)
- select Delete.
- click on Hangouts' icon.
- select name.

Your School may block these options you could try.
- Try a VPN for unblocking.
- Use Proxy websites.
- Use IP instead of URL.
- Change Network Proxy in Browser.
Unblock someone
- Open the Hangouts app .
- At the top left, tap Menu .
- Tap Settings. Blocked people.
- Find the person you want to unblock. Tap their name.
- At the top right, tap More. People.
- Select the person you want to unblock.
- Tap Unblock user.
Go to Gmail settings (by clicking the gear icon). Click the Filters and Blocked Addresses tab. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and you'll see a list of blocked addresses. You'll have to scroll through the list to find the contact you want to unblock and click the Unblock link.
Block someone
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Hangouts app .
- Open a Hangout conversation.
- Tap More. People.
- Select the person to block. Block.
- Tap Block.
In order to delete a message in hangouts do the following:
- Open Hangouts at Google Hangouts or in Gmail.
- Select the person from the Hangouts list to open the conversation.
- At the top right of the conversation window, click Settings .
- Select Delete Hangout.
- Click Delete.
