The images stored on your camera will appear as thumbnails in the main area of the screen. Untick any that you don't want to import. If any photos appear greyed out, this indicates that Lightroom thinks you've already imported them. When importing from a camera, make sure you select either 'Copy or 'Copy as DNG'.
For Android phones:
Open the Android File Transfer app. Navigate to the pictures folder on your phone — this will often be the DCIM or Camera folder. Select the images you want, and then copy and paste them to a folder on your Mac computer [source: Apple].The images that you have imported into Lightroom are located where you asked for them to be placed when you imported them into Lightroom. If you have chosen Copy as DNG, Copy or Move when importing images into Lightroom then those images will be stored on your disk in the folder that you asked for them to be placed in.

On February 26, 2018, 500px was acquired by Visual China Group. On July 1, 2018, Getty Images became 500px's exclusive distribution partner for licensing outside China, as per its existing agreements with VCG. As a result, 500px Marketplace was shut down on June 30, 2018.
Aside from making the push to further increase their paid members numbers, 500px also announced that they will be raising the prices of their services starting May 1st. Plus memberships will be increased to $25 a year (from $19.95) and Awesome account are raising to $75 a year (from $49.95).
Pulse is a score out of 100 points that measures how popular a photo is. Pulse is calculated by an algorithm, which is unique to 500px and is based on Views & Likes on your photo from the community. The Pulse algorithm was designed to promote daily exposure of new photographs and photographers.
Achieve a pulse of 80 or above and it will make the “popular” page. Enough votes will even get any picture the coveted “most popular photo” spot — exactly where you want to be. Do this with enough of your photos (or come close) and it won't be long before you're 500px-famous.
Have a read on 500px support page for more details. From their relevant Support page: width 880px for photos in landscape orientation, height 900px for images in portrait orientation. Even when you submit your images in that size, they will still get resized for display in thumbnails, and on iOS devices.
When your 500px photo reaches a pulse over 70, it's promoted to the upcoming page. With a pulse over 80, your photos are added to the popular pages. All photos' Pulse drops after 24 hours, and again after a week. Your photo's highest achieved Pulse is recorded and displayed on your photo-page.
You Can Now Upload Your Photos On The Go With 500px Android App. Interact with the photographers by commenting on photos, liking them, or adding them to your favorites for later viewing.
