Go to the Theme Customiser. Open the Footer Menu. Select the Bottom Bar Menu Option. Enter your new footer text in the Edit Footer Credits text box.
At the bottom of the footer options window, you'll find the option to “Disable Footer Credits†(#1 in the screenshot) and below that you'll see the “Edit Footer Credits†field (#2 in the screenshot). Now simply place your new footer text (or whatever else you want add) into this field and away you go.
Go to Divi > Theme Customizer > Footer > Bottom Bar > Edit Footer Credits and start typing your own credits. This will replace the default Divi Footer Credits.
Remove WordPress Footer Text With CSS
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard, click "Appearance," select "Customize" and then click "Additional CSS."
- Type the following code into the CSS file: .site-info { display: none; }
- Click "Save."
Alternatively, you can use my plugin Divi Booster to hide it for you. Once installed, all you need to do is go to the plugin settings page, enable the "Header > Main Header > Hide header completely" option and save. The header should now be gone!
