The easiest way to catch Tsuchinoko is to go through either Graniny Gorki South (after defeating The Fear) or in Sokrovenno (after defeating The End) killing all of the animals in the area, locating them using the sonar. Once all of the other animals are gone, the Sonar will still show something.
It's simple, use a death pill. He'll come down to investigate, when he turns his back on you, revive yourself. After you do this, take out a stun grenade, throw it infront of him and face the opposite directing so you aren't blinded. Take out an assault rifle and unload into him.
Beating Volgin Non Lethal. When he raises his hands over his head go prone and crawl. Then just keep running around him waiting for your opportunity to throw him to the ground. Once he's down, pop a couple of quick tranqs into his face and then try rolling over him as he's getting up.
Run in a mild arc towards him and CQC slam him. Roll over him for about the same amount of damage. For the second half, don't bother with equipping/unequipping a gun, instead run around until he does his 360° bullet attack. When he does roll towards him and get as close as possible to him.
You can't actually kill The Sorrow (mostly because he's already dead). When you reach the corpse in the middle of the river at the end, touch it and you will die. After the Game Over screen appears, hold down L2 and scroll through your menu until you find the Revival Pill. Use it and the game will continue.

- there are two ways to kill the sorrow, one which is the easiest and quick is to try to swim and drown yourself at which time you can take the revival pill and wake up.

Maybe The Sorrow helps Snake repeatedly throughout the game, not only because he has to, for Snake to fulfill his mission. But also because he's grateful that Snake spared his son, Ocelot, when he had the oportunity to kill him several times.
The Sorrow was born sometime during the early 1900s to early 1910s. Before he died, The Sorrow told The Boss that "the spirit of the warrior [would] always be with [her]." He was then killed by a bullet to the left eye that shattered his glasses.
You will see a cutscene that first introduces The End. After it is over a guard will walk over to The End in his wheelchair and slowly wheel him inside. Use your sniper rifle to kill The End before he gets inside. A wheelchair wheel will fly toward you and knock you down to let you know he is dead.

After climbing the ladder from the underground tunnel, Snake will enter the southwest section of Groznyj Grad. Head up the steps and run north. Crawl under the crates to the northernmost one. Either tranquilize the two guards, or wait until neither of them are on the northern path and run.
After using the Fake Death Pill, the Revival Pill can be used by the player to awaken Snake from false death. The pill must be used during the Game Over screen, prior to the appearance of the "Time Paradox" text, otherwise Snake will die. The Revival Pill can be used an unlimited number of times.
