The reset button is accessed through a small hole next to one of the case screw locations on the bottom of the system, near the center of the system. The reset button hole can be used in the following situations: A unit will not power on, either on battery or AC power.
Start by doing a hard reboot: Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter. Then, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and try booting it up again. If this does not work, do test the AC adapter to see if it's working properly. Remove the battery and power the laptop with just the AC adapter connected.
How to do a "hard reset" on many laptops
- Power off your laptop.
- Disconnect AC adapter (if it's connected).
- Take off the battery.

Try this:
- Plug the power adapter into the Tablet.
- With the adapter plugged in, Hold down the power button for 20 seconds.
- Disconnect the power adapter from the Tablet and press the power button for 20 seconds.
- Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the Tablet. It should power up just fine.

While on the Log in Screen, click the Ease of access logo. Place a check in the Type without the keyboard (On-Screen Keyboard) box. By using your mouse cursor, click and check that all keys are working fine with the On-screen keyboard. Also check the keys that are not working with the physical keyboard.
Open the Start menu and type "Device Manager." Press Enter, and expand the Keyboards section.
