Your best chance to recover your data is to try navigating to the C:Users<UserName>AppDataRoamingMicrosoftSticky Notes directory, right click on StickyNotes. snt, and select Restore Previous Versions. However, next time you open Sticky Notes your data will return.
With the Startup folder open, open the Start Menu (or the Start screen) and find the shortcut for Sticky Notes. Drag the Sticky Notes shortcut to the Startup folder opened in File Explorer (or Windows Explorer). Sticky Notes will now “stay” when you shut down Windows.
