Confirm that both your TV and Xbox One console are turned on. Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI). Check that the HDMI cable connection to your console is secure. Check that the HDMI cable connection to your TV is secure.
Connect the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port on the console (marked by a single raised dash) and then connect the other end of the HDMI cable into any HDMI IN port on your Samsung TV. You can experience the best 4K 120 Hz gaming performance when the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI IN 4 port with a Game icon.
Xbox One, One S, One X WiFi Connection
- Set up your Xbox by plugging it in to a power outlet and connecting the console to your TV using the HDMI cable provided.
- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
- Select System > Settings > General > Network settings.
- Choose the Set up wireless network screen.
Verify that the source device has power and is turned on. If the source device is connected with an HDMI® cable: Make sure the TV and source device are both turned on, then disconnect the HDMI cable from one of the devices and then connect it again. Try a new or another known working HDMI cable.
To watch TV, just open the OneGuide app. You can then use your Xbox One controller or Kinect voice commands to control TV playback and switch between channels. You can also open the OneGuide menu and select “TV Listings” to view a full TV guide.
SmartThings: The app. While you'll use the app to setup and control your SmartThings hardware via your SmartThings hub, there's actually no need to have any SmartThings-branded hardware at all to use the SmartThings platform. That's because Samsung has moved this to be a universal offering.
SmartThings works with hundreds of compatible devices, including lights, cameras, voice assistants, locks, thermostats and more.
Open Samsung Members, and then tap the Get Help tab. Tap Register, and then select a registration method. Note: On iOS, tap the + at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Tap Scan Wi-Fi to search for your device through your connected Wi-Fi network, and then follow the on-screen instructions to register.
3 Set up your SmartThings Hub
- From the Dashboard > Tap Add device (Android: Tap Add Device Manually)
- Select Hubs > Tap Samsung SmartThings Hub.
- Follow the on-screen guide for connecting the Hub> Tap Next.

- Turn on a new device that isn't set up yet. Put the device in pairing mode.
- Turn on your phone's screen.
- On your phone, you'll get a notification offering to set up the new device.
- Tap the notification.

- Click on “+ New SmartApp” green button on right side.

SmartThings is a network of smart devices working together through the SmartThings hub. The hub can be used with hundreds of smart devices, including thermostats, lights, security cameras, smart plugs and locks, all at the same time.

- Go to your Home Screen.
- Select “Add Deviceâ€
- Choose the brand you'd like to add a product from.

In the Google Home app, go to Home Control -> Devices, tap on the plus sign at the bottom right and tap on SmartThings.
Step 1: Download and Install the SmartThings mobile app on your Android/iOS and Windows Phone devices. Step 2: Click on Sign Up. Enter your full name and email address. Confirm your email and set your password(minimum 8 characters with at least one number and one character).

The SmartThings platform, including the app, will continue to be developed by the team at SmartThings and branded SmartThings.
To add an additional user to your BodyGuardz Smart Life app:
- Open the Smart Life app.
- Select Manage Homes.
- Tap Edit on the “Home” you wish to add the user to.
- Select “Invite User” towards the bottom.
- Enter the user's email address and which device(s) you wish to give them access to.
SmartThings Hub Commands
- Sign in to SmartThings Groovy IDE.
- Select My Hubs.
- Choose the hub you want to command.
- Select View Utilities near the bottom of the page.
- Select your desired command from list of Hub Commands.
SmartThings is a smart hub created by Samsung that communicates with all of your smart devices and allows you to control them in a variety of different ways. Before you can use SmartThings, you'll need a Samsung account to keep track of your connected devices.
Connect TV with mobile via SmartThings
- 1 From mobile device, tap on SmartThings app.
- 2 Tap on Add device.
- 3 Tap on the device with which you want to connect the mobile.
- 4 Tap on TURN ON.
- 5 It will take some time.
- 6 The devices has been connected to the mobile.
- 7 Tap on the device.

The HDMI input on the Xbox One is mainly intended for your cable or satellite box. Users will be able to plug the HDMI output from those boxes into the Xbox One, which then sends a combined signal to the television over a single HDMI cable. The idea is that users can watch TV and play games without switching inputs.
Like with Xbox One and Xbox One S, the X features two HDMI ports. One is an HDMI-in that enables you to feed your cable-box signal into the system. The other is the HDMI output that sends the Xbox's video and audio to your television.
Complete Xbox console setup using the mobile app
- Download the Xbox app from the Google Play or Apple App stores: Google PlayApple App Store.
- Open the app. If you're a new app user, select Set up a console.
- Enter the code you were given on the on the Set up with the Xbox app screen.

Step 1: Connect the power cable to the Xbox One and turn the console on. Step 2: Plug your HDMI cable into the output port of your Xbox One. Step 3: Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the input port of your laptop. Step 4: Select the appropriate video source on your laptop.
Check that your HDMI cord is fully plugged into both the tv and console. Inspect the HDMI cord at both ends for damage or dirt and clean it carefully if needed. Try another using an HDMI cord you know works OR, if you only have one cord, try plugging in a different console to see if it works.
To use your
Xbox without being prompted to connect to the
Xbox service, set it to
offline. While
offline, the console won't connect to any networks.
Set your Xbox to offline

- Select Go offline.
