Download the Google Wifi app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
- Open the Google Wifi app .
- Tap Network. Devices.
- Near the top, tap the time frame and select the desired period. The default is “Real-time.”
Is there a limit to the number of devices that can connect to the Xfinity WiFi Home Hotspot at one time? Up to five devices can connect to the “xfinitywifi” signal simultaneously.
If your Android phone is not rooted, you simply cannot use any of these apps. Download the app from Play Store, launch it, and give root permission when asked for. Search for the device you want to kick off your network. Click on the red WiFi symbol next to the device which will disable the internet on that device.
Step 2: Connect
- Swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
- Touch and hold Bluetooth .
- In the list of paired devices, tap a paired but unconnected device.
- When your phone and the Bluetooth device are connected, the device shows as "Connected."
Use the Windows network setup wizard to add computers and devices to the network.
- In Windows, right-click the network connection icon in the system tray.
- Click Open Network and Internet Settings.
- In the network status page, scroll down and click Network and Sharing Center.
- Click Set up a new connection or network.
When you want to give the password to an Android device, simply open the QR code on your iPhone and scan it with the Android. You can scan it with your camera or a dedicated QR scanner app. A message may pop up on the Android to confirm network connection.

To connect your Android phone or tablet to your wireless home network, just follow these steps:

For Android devices, tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, then tap Internet. Tap the Wireless Gateway. Select "Change WiFi Settings." Enter your new network name and password.

- Hit the Menu button on your TV remote.
- Choose the Network Settings option then Set up a wireless connection.
- Select the wireless network name for your home Wi-Fi.
- Type your Wi-Fi password using your remote's button.
Click on the WiFi icon in the notification area of the taskbar to see the list of available networks (SSIDs). Select xfinitywifi from the list of available networks and click it. Click Connect. You may be prompted to select a location for the xfinitywifi network - select the Public Network option.

Auto-connect from an Android phoneIf for some reason you're not connecting, it could be because you changed the network name or password on your Xfinity Home WiFi. Turn on WiFi. Your phone will automatically search for available WiFi networks, then tap the name of your home network. Enter your network password.
Reset Your SettingsMake sure something hasn't gone awry with your WiFi by resetting your network settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This resets all your saved WiFi networks and erases all passwords, so make sure you have your network name and password handy before you do this.
