Remember, while cancelling your Direct Debit will stop your payments, you might have outstanding balances on your account to pay off – like an Early Termination Fee (ETF).
With the standard cancellation process, you'll need to call Vodafone to tell them you want to end your contract. A 30 day notice period will then apply, over which you'll need to continue paying your normal monthly line rental.
If you pay late we'll charge interest of 2% above the base rate of Barclays Bank each year and you'll also need to pay a reasonable charge to compensate us for the administration costs incurred (see your Charges Guide).
Simply log in to My Vodafone:

Viewing call details
- Select My Numbers > My Call History.
- If you want to display your call history with specific search criteria applied, select the desired options in the Search section.

If you're struggling to log in, it could be that your number has now been disconnected or transferred to a new network. This means it will no longer appear in the drop-down on the My Vodafone login page. If you set up an alternative contact number on your account, you can use this to log in.

Activate your new SIM online
- Log on to My Vodafone.
- Scroll down to the 'My Device & SIM' section on your homepage.
- Click on 'My SIM'
- Next select 'Activate your new SIM'
- Your new SIM card number should already populated.

A standing order is a regular payment that you can set up to pay other people, organisations or transfer to your other bank accounts. A Direct Debit can only be set up by the organisation to which you're making the payment.
Absolutely. Consumers are entitled to cancel any Direct Debits that they have at any time and without notice. It's their bank account, after all! When cancelling Direct Debits, it's good to be sure that the service attached to the direct debit for is not part of a contract of any sort such as a TV or mobile package.

Will this new card affect my Direct Debits & standing orders? The new card will not affect any Direct Debits or standing orders you have set up.

- Tap the credit card you want to remove. The Edit your card screen appears.
- Tap Remove this card.
- The Are you sure screen appears. Tap Yes to remove the card.
How to remove a payment method on Google Play:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store app.
- Now tap on the menu and then tap on Payment methods.
- Then tap on More payment settings.
- If asked, sign in to pay.google.com.
- Under the payment method, you want to remove, tap on Remove.
How do I cancel direct debit? If you want to use another payment method, you'll need to cancel direct debit through My Vodafone 24 hours before your bill's next due date. You can also contact your financial institution at least 5 business days before your next due date.
