Samsung Cloud allows you to backup, sync and restore content stored on your device. You'll never lose anything important to you and can seamlessly view photos across all devices. Backing up your device to the Samsung Cloud will copy your content or data, and create a restore point.
Turn back up & sync on or off
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app .
- Sign in to your Google Account.
- At the top right, tap your account profile photo or initial.
- Select Photos settings. Back up & sync.
- Tap 'Back up & sync' on or off.
Samsung Galaxy S6
- Connect your mobile phone and computer. Connect the data cable to the socket and to your computer's USB port.
- Select setting for USB connection. Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone. Press Connected as a media device.
- Transfer files. Start a file manager on your computer.

First, connect your phone to a PC with a USB cable that can transfer files.

The contacts storage location varies on phones released by different manufacturers. But it's easy to find the contacts database stored on your Android phone and tablet. You can get it in somewhere like "/data/data/*.
Press Settings. Press Import/Export contacts. Select one of the following options: Copy contacts from your SIM to your phone, go to 2a.
