The answer to this question has to be both a common answer and an exception. First, the common answer is: No, Christians cannot forsake gathering together (Hebrew 10:25). Members should attend every Sunday possible to worship their sovereign and enjoy the assembly of the saints.

The Bible says godly worship is something altogether different. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word used for worship is "shachah" and means "to bow down" or "prostrate oneself" so worship is not described in the Bible as just praise or raising our hands but bowing down and lying flat (prostrate) on the ground.
Remember that the “battle is the Lord's” (1 Samuel 17:47). David reminds us that our God is God, who is worthy to be worshipped. He is worthy of being our delight, worthy of our dependence, and worthy of our devotion. He is worthy to be loved; to be praised; to be exalted and to be followed.

The forms and types of worship are extraordinarily rich and varied. Three types may be distinguished: corporate exclusive worship; corporate inclusive worship; and personal worship.

- For instance, if someone says, "Your home is beautiful," you might say, "Thank you! God has really blessed my life and I'm very grateful to Him."
- If they ask you more about your faith in God, you might invite them to come to church with you so they can learn about God's generosity as well.
