Print using the Samsung Mobile Print app (Android)
- Make sure the printer and the phone are connected to the same network (same router).
- Open the Samsung Mobile print app and navigate to the Print tab.
- Tap the Print icon.
- If no device is selected, tap Select Device, and then select the printer from the device list.
The biggest difference between the iPad and Android tablets is the operating system since the iPad runs on iOS while Android tablets run on Google's Android; both starting on smartphones and are now being used in tablets. The iPad cannot show videos from Youtube and a lot of other sites due to the lack of Flash.
A notebook is basically just another name for a laptop, which is basically a computer that is squeezed into a very small package. A tablet is a smaller and sleeker type of computer as it forgoes the physical QWERTY keyboard found on most notebooks, which takes up a big amount of space on the device.
Turn on the printer. Connect one end of the USB cable to the printer and the other end to the USB OTG. Then connect the other end of the USB OTG to your Android phone. If it is a document, then select “More” > “Share” > “Print.” If it it is a photo, select “More” > “Print” and you're done!

- From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings.

Tablets are more portable (even when you throw in a keyboard or dock), tend to offer brighter displays and feature a much wider array of apps than Chromebooks do. And while Chromebooks are more capable than they once were in terms of offline capability, you can still do more with a tablet.
An Android tablet can make a good alternative to a laptop, provided that you don't need to do a lot of computer-based work. Android tablets are limited by their mobile OS and the Google Play store, and it can be difficult to switch between Android apps the way that you might flip between windows on a laptop.
Android
- Make sure your Android device is connected to the same wireless network that you want to connect your printer to.
- Go to 123.hp.com from a browser on your phone or tablet and install the HP Smart app.
- Turn on the printer.
- Prepare the printer for a wireless network connection.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (2015) - Set Up Printing
- From a Home screen, navigate: Apps icon > Settings.
- From the Wireless and networks section, tap More.
- Tap Printing.
- Tap Samsung Print Service Plugin.
- Tap the Samsung Print Service Plugin switch to turn on or off . When turned on, the device automatically searches for available printers.
You can print from your Chromebook using most printers that connect to Wi-Fi or a wired network. Tip: You can also use a USB cable to connect your printer to your Chromebook. Your printer won't need to be connected to Wi-Fi if it is directly connected to your Chromebook.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A (8.0) - Activate / Set Up Device
- If powered off, press and hold the Power button until the Samsung Galaxy Tab A screen appears then release.
- Select the appropriate language then tap the right Arrow icon.
- To continue, review the 'Terms and Conditions' screen then tap Next.
- From the 'Tablet Activation' screen, tap Next.
On the connected computer or mobile device, determine the network SSID that the device is connected to. Compare the network SSID of the device with the SSID of the printer. If the SSID of the device is the same as the SSID for Wi-Fi Direct, the connection is Wi-Fi Direct.
Galaxy Tab: How to Print Your Pictures
- Ensure that the Tab's Bluetooth wireless radio is on.
- Ensure that the Bluetooth printer is on, that its Bluetooth radio is on, and that the printer is stocked with ink and paper, ready to print.
- Open the Gallery app and browse to find the image you want to enshrine on paper.
- Touch the Share button.
- Choose Bluetooth.
You can, however, access a printer from your Android tablet by installing a printing application. You can choose to install a printer app that is specific to your model of printer, like the HP ePrint app. You can select an app that will print directly to your device via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, like the PrinterShare app.
Prepare the document
- Go to File | Page Setup and choose the Layout tab.
- At the beginning of each division (that is, each place that you want a tab), go to Insert | Break and select Odd page under Section break types, then click OK.
Cloud printing can be described as a service that allows users to print from any device on the network. As a result, users can experience seamless, reliable printing across the network, regardless the hardware being used and the location.
Find IP address of a network printer
- Start -> Printers and Faxes, or Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes.
- Right-click the printer name, and left-click Properties.
- Click the Ports tab, and widen the first column which displays IP address of the printers.
How to print a local file from your Android phone
- Open the file you'd like to print.
- Tap the menu button in the top right of your screen.
- Tap Print.
- Tap the drop-down arrow.
- Tap the printer you'd like to print from.
- Tap the print button.
The Android OS doesn't yet provide native support for printing. Nearby mode prints to select Bluetooth- and Wi-Fi-connected printers straight from the phone. You can install the mobile app directly to your phone, choose your printer, and print.
