When you get a voicemail, you can check your message from
the notification on your phone. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap Voicemail .
You can call your voicemail service to check your messages.

Note: Your voicemail Personal Identification Number (PIN) is similar to a password. Just like a password is required to receive email, your PIN must be entered each time you retrieve voicemail messages. Voicemail comes with a default PIN which is the last 6-digits of your account number.

To set up your voicemail, follow these steps:
- Call 123 from your phone.
- Choose a new PIN and select #
- Confirm your new PIN and select #
- You'll be asked to record your name as this identifies you when you send messages to other people.
- Say your name clearly and select #
- Select 1 if you're happy with your name.

To record a new greeting:
- Open the Google Voice app .
- At the top left, tap Menu. Settings.
- In the Voicemail section, tap Voicemail greeting.

- Record your greeting and when you're done, tap Stop .
- Choose what you want to do with the recording: To listen to the recording, tap Play .
