Police clearance certificate usually costs Php 100 while the police clearance ID card costs more (Php 150 or higher) due to the materials used. Therefore, if your local government releases both police clearance certificate and ID card, you need to bring at least Php 300.
Police certificates will remain valid as long as the expiry date has not passed or as long as it was issued no more than three months before the date the applicant submits his or her application.

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is issued to Indian Passport holders in case they have appped for Residential Status, Employment or Long term visa or for immigration. PCC cannot be issued for persons going abroad on Tourist Visa.
A PCC is valid indefinitely if you haven't visited that country after obtaining said document. For your current country of residence, CIC considers PCC valid for 6 months from date of issue.
