Re: How can I downgrade my packageIf your fixed price contract has ended and you are now paying full price, the only option for the main package is to re-contract at the best price available in your "Offers and Upgrades" area of your online account.
Re: How do I return equipment? If you've left TalkTalk upon completion of your minimum contracted term and the router and TV Box are those originally supplied or replaced in the 12 months warranty period then they're yours and you don't need to return them unless you wish TalkTalk to recyle them.
You can terminate a broadband contract whenever you want… but you'll need to comply with the cancellation terms laid out in the contract. If you're still within the minimum contract length, that can mean a hefty fee, usually equal to the cost of the remaining bills on the contract.
Re: Do I need to return my YouView box? The box is yours to keep. You only need to return it if you are in your initial TV contract term.

Pros. TalkTalk offers both standard / ADSL and fibre broadband packages with speeds that will meet the needs of most UK households. Broadband provision through TalkTalk is also widely regarded as being great value for money, and you won't be ambushed by mid-contract price hikes, as prices are fixed until 2022.
If you change your mind and want to cancel within 20 days of your order date, you're free to leave without penalty and you'll only pay for the TalkTalk services that you've used during this time.
yes. Most of the time, you will have to pay exit charges to cancel your broadband before the minimum term has expired. What you'll pay depends on the provider - often, you'll have to pay off the remaining months all at once, as well as the cost of any equipment they supplied.
Re: Will Youview+ box work after leaving TalkTalk TV? The box would work with another provider, but would only receive subscription based channels if that provider supplied youview content. All the usual freeview and on demand services such as BBC Iplayer , ITV player etc would continue to work.
Your new provider will take care of everything involved in the switch, including getting your current broadband cancelled. If you're switching to or from a provider on a different network, however - like Virgin Media - you'll need to call up your current provider and cancel the service yourself.
If you're still within the minimum period of your Sky or TalkTalk contract, you'll be charged cancellation fees if you leave; how much will depend on many months you have left on your contract when you cancel. However, Sky will credit your account with up to £100 if TalkTalk charges you termination fees.
TalkTalk customers can look online or log into their account, where the provider will help run tests to see if the service in their area is down. Customers can also contact TalkTalk directly on its helpline on 0345 172 0088 to check what has happened.
