As such there is no expiry date on PAN card, but if your personal details changed over the period of time such as name, address, occupation,etc you are advice to update the same with department.

Go to profile settings->My Profile after logging in to e-Filing Home Page, Income Tax Department, Government of India. There you will see “PAN DETAILS”. The name of assessee is mentioned there in this format: <First name> <middle optional> <Last name>. This is the name in database.
If you wish to update any details of your pancard you cannot do it online as that data is managed by the authorities. If you wish to update an "account" with your pan number then you will neeed to be guided by the rules of the provider of that account, such as a bank, a depository etc.
