Natsuki is killed by being deleted by Monika. She does it before eating Natsuki's cupcake on the day of the festival.
Instead of this, Doki breaks and extends immersion into your Computer. It's not that you stop playing the game when you go into the character files; but rather that the game extends past its own window and into your Windows.
The only thing you have to do now to achieve the good ending in DDLC is delete the 'monika. chr' file. When you return to the game, a glitched version of Monika will remain, with some dialogue. Congrats, you've just earned the best ending in Doki Doki LIterature Club!
Although we know that Doki Doki Literature Club wasn't actually developed to be an anime dating game, and that everything that happens in the game — from Sayori's suicide to Monika trapping and isolating the player — was all written and crafted to happen and be experienced in the exact way that it does, just like with
However, if the player actively chooses to pursue Sayori's route she will experience guilt anyway since she doesn't believe that she deserves to be loved and will thus, either way kill herself, no matter what the player chooses.
Monika is a Isolationist and Manipulative Yandere; introduced as the Literature Club president, she is very driven and goal focused with a passion for poetry and music. She is fully supportive of the Player, giving helpful tips, and comments on how the players choices are influencing their relationships.
The reason Doki Doki Literature club is scary is because of the story behind it and all the hidden secrets. So DDLC takes the normal Dating Sim formula and adds some twists to it. At the end of the first act the player character's best friend Sayori hangs herself.
Monika can learn the name of the administrator on the computer in an attempt to find your real name. Monika can detect if the player adds her character file back when she resets the game.
Yuri is 18, and falls into Libitina's age range, making it possible that Yuri is Libitina. This doesn't exactly point at who Libitina is amongst the game, but introduces new characters like 'Elyssa' (mentioned once on the website) and 'Renier'.
Even if themes of suicide and self harm aren't triggering, the game can still be quite confrontational and I was left shaking and exiting the game so quickly just after the first round. From there it just gets worse, with the implemented jump scares and other elements alike.
According to a user from Texas, U.S., the name Sayori is of Japanese origin and means "Best Girl".
Quick EndingIf Monika's character file is deleted (as explained in Monika's Ending) before starting a new game in Act 1, Sayori appears to realize that she is trapped in a game. She will then force the game to close and delete the other character files, including herself.
She is said to be very crazy around your character (yandere). During act three, Monika gives a piece of dialogue confirming that Yuri was, indeed, a yandere.
You never delete Monika. You go to the game's directory and to the character folder, you monster. The characters folder should be right there.
While there won't be a sequel, developer Dan Salvato announced that new Doki Doki Literature Club “content” is on the way, specifically using “DDLC” to refer to the game. First releasing new DDLC content (not a sequel), then blowing the dust off my next original VN which has been on hold for 2 years.
Doki Doki, or doki-doki (Japanese: ????, Hepburn: Dokidoki) is a term for the sound of a beating heart in Japanese sound symbolism.
Type of VillainWhile she is technically a kind and caring person, her epiphany about her own universe had turned her into a total sociopath who laughed at the misery of her former friends.
How can Monika know that we are recording ? It has no way of telling what that executable is doing, or if it is even genuine, which means you can rename notepad into "obs.exe", launch it before launching the game, and Monika will be tricked into thinking you're recording.
Monika is running out of time before the festival, so she comes up with a less subtle approach on the fly to make Natsuki undesirable. The neck snap is completely unintentional and is just a result of Monika not knowing enough about programming, which results in a bizarre and terrifying glitch.

Doki Doki Literature Club was created by Team Salvato. You can get it on Steam for free (Windows and Mac OS,) or on itch.io for pay what you want (Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.) It takes about 5 or 6 hours to finish.
