Why Visas Are Required
Many countries require citizens of other nationality to obtain a visa before they enter their country. Visas are the permission granted by a sovereign nation to a traveler permitting entry for a specific purpose (tourist, business, study, etc.).Most visitors to Singapore can enter the country without a visa; however some visitors must first obtain a visa in advance before being allowed to enter Singapore.
The SG Arrival Card (Beta) is an e-Service provided by the ICA to facilitate the electronic submission of arrival information and trip details (i.e. electronic arrival card) by foreign visitors.
Singapore now offers 96-hour Visa Free Transit for Indians. To be admitted Visa Free, here are the requirements for Indian passengers: You need to have a valid onward air ticket with journey commencing within 96-hours of arrival.
Singaporeans can visit Denmark for up to 90 days within 180 days from the date of initial entry within the Schengen region without a visa, provided no employment is pursued. Denmark is part of the Schengen area.
Singapore, Brunei and Japan ordinary passport holders may enter China without a visa through the ports of entry open to foreigners providing that they come to China for a family visit, tourism, transit or business, and intend to stay in China for no more than 15 days.
Singaporeans can visit Myanmar for up to 30 days without a visa.
The tap water supplied by the T.W.D. (Taipei Water Department) in Taipei, Taiwan is safe for consumption. The T.W.D.'s water quality is held to the same standard as more developed countries.
TAIWAN VISA REQUIREMENTS
- Passport with at least 6 months validity and old passport showing previous trips.
- Two recent (must be taken within the last 3 months) passport size photos 1.5′ x 2″ with white background.
- NSO-issued Birth Certificate.
- NSO-issued Marriage Contract if female applicant is married.
The rates are as follows: Single Entry Visitor Visa: NT$1,600 per application made in Taiwan; US$50 per application made overseas. Multiple Entry Visitor Visa: NT$3,200 per application made in Taiwan; US$100 per application made overseas.
Citizens of Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, and Laos: Visitors to Taiwan are permitted a 30 day visa-free stay if holding a residency or valid visa (including electronic) for USA, Canada, Schengen States (Europe), UK, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, or Australia.
Taiwan extends visa-free entry for Pinoys until 2020. MANILA -- Taiwan has extended its 14-day visa-free entry privilege for Filipinos until July 2020, the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Manila announced Tuesday night.
To apply for an APRC, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Have lived in Taiwan for five years and have been in the country for at least 183 days each year.
- The spouse or children of a national must have valid household registration in Taiwan and have been in the ROC legally for ten years.
Taiwan is certainly more expensive than the mainland. The main cost is accommodation. Elsewhere though, you're only real option will be a cheap Taiwanese hotel, and cheap Taiwanese hotels rarely cost anything less than about 180 Renminbi. Otherwise, there's little in Taiwan that will eat up your budget.
To enter Taiwan visa free, you must meet these requirements: No criminal records in Taiwan. A regular passport with the remaining validity of at least 6 months from the date of departure. A return airline ticket or a ticket to your next destination (and a visa for that specific destination if it's required)
To qualify, you must have been physically present in Taiwan for at least 183 days each year, your monthly income must be at least twice that of the minimum wage set by the council of Labor Affairs and your net worth must be valued at over NTD5,000,000.
Visa free travel to Schengen-area for Taiwanese
Germany is part of the Schengen-area. The maximum length of a stay is 90 days within six months. Taiwan passport holders have to be in the possession of a valid passport including an identity number.A cool thing about living and working in Taiwan is that they have a relatively short time requirement for a person to become a permanent resident. If you keep a work based ARC or a JFRV for 5 years without breaking your residency status you may be eligible to apply for an Alien Permanent Resident Certificate, or APRC.
A Taiwan Tourist only allows the holder to stay in Taiwan for a maximum of 90 days from the day of arrival. Some countries, however, have a shorter allowed time of stay in Taiwan (14, 30, or 60). The visa for Taiwan is valid for: Up to three months, if you have a single-entry Taiwan visa.
In reality, the PRC rules only Mainland China and has no control of but claims Taiwan as part of its territory under its "One China Principle". The ROC, which only rules the Taiwan Area (composed of Taiwan and its nearby minor islands), became known as "Taiwan" after its largest island, (an instance of pars pro toto).
ROC passports are not recognized for entry and transit. However, all ROC nationals with Household Registration are also able to apply for a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents either before arrival or on arrival, allowing the holder to enter and stay in Mainland China until its expiry.
For U.S. citizens, all U.S. passport holders will be allowed to enter Taiwan without a visa for up to 90 days if their passport is valid throughout their intended length of stay and the traveler has a confirmed return air ticket or proof of onward travel.
Taiwan tourist visa is required for citizens of China. Original, signed China passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
Taiwan is a developed country, ranking 15th in GDP per capita. It is ranked highly in terms of political and civil liberties, education, health care and human development. The political status of Taiwan remains uncertain. The ROC is no longer a member of the UN, having been replaced by the PRC in 1971.

Singaporeans do not require a visa to enter Germany. However, your passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. If you intend to stay longer than three months in Germany, you should first obtain a visa from the German Embassy in Singapore.

To enter Russia for any purpose, a U.S. citizen must possess a valid U.S. passport and a bona fide visa issued by a Russian Embassy or Consulate. It is impossible to obtain an entry visa upon arrival, so travelers must apply for their visas well in advance.
Singaporean and Malaysian passport holders travelling to New Zealand for less than three months on business, as tourists, to visit friends or relatives or for short-term study under three months, are not required to apply for a visa before they travel.
To apply for a Russian Tourist Visa, you will need the following documents:
- Original passport, valid for more than 6 months with at least 2 blank pages for your visa and entry/exit stamps.

Who does not need a visa to Russia?
- Argentina (for visits of up to 90 days in any 180-day period (starting from the day of first entry)).
- Armenia.
- Azerbaijan.
- Belarus.
- Bolivia (for visits of up to 90 days)
- Bosnia and Herzegovina (up to 30 days for tourists and up to 90 days for other visitors).
The US passport holders can stay in Russia up to 180 days in a row. A tourist or business visa cannot be extended.
