Restart the computer. If the feature is still not back, open Device Manager -> Human Interface Devices. Right-click HID compliant touch screen, then uninstall. When you restart the PC, it will reinstall.
What can I do if my Lenovo touch screen monitor isn't working?
- Disable and re-enable HID-compliant touch screen.
- Disconnect peripherals.
- Repair your Registry.
- Install the latest Windows updates.
- Rollback drivers.
- Run the built-in Windows Troubleshooter.
- Hold the Power button for 1 minute.
Press and hold the power button and volume UP button (some phones use power button volume Down button) at the same time; Afterwards, release the buttons after an Android icon appears on the screen; Use the volume buttons to choose "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button to confirm.
To perform a hard reset, push the up & down volume buttons and power button at the same time. When the reset screen comes up, use the volume buttons to choose 'wipe cache'. Then select 'yes', then 'wipe data factory' and 'yes'. After this has all finished, reboot the device.
Press the Windows Key + R and type in devmgmt. msc and press Enter. Click on View > Show hidden devices. Right-click on any greyed out entries that show your HID touch screen and click on Uninstall device.

Enable and disable your touchscreen in Windows 10
- In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, then select Device Manager.
- Select the arrow next to Human Interface Devices and then select HID-compliant touch screen. (There may be more than one listed.)
- Select the Action tab at the top of the window. Select Disable device or Enable device, and then confirm.
