The most common recurring issue with the Honda Pilot is transmission problems. This can be quite a serious complication to encounter. Transmission problems could cause your vehicle to jerk, speed up or slow down unexpectedly. It could even cause your vehicle to stop working entirely.
The most reliable Honda Pilot model yearsHowever, the 2008 Honda Pilot receives an impressively-low number of complaints, at only 34. This is surprisingly impressive, considering the 2008 Honda Pilot's age. For model years newer than 2010, you may be hard-pressed to find a Pilot without numerous problems.
The 2018 Honda Pilot has the same transmission issues that the 2017 Pilot had. They have not been extensive, but they are still some of the more common issues that drivers of this model year have pointed out. Issues are related to the transmission failing completely, or much more frequently, the transmission jerking.
a honda pilot generally lasts for around 120,000 miles.
Hondas have always had excellent resale value, mostly due to their outstanding reliability ratings. The Honda Pilot is no exception in this right. Receiving top picks from accredited raters the Pilot has proven itself to be an outstanding, practical third-row SUV.
With a fuel economy of 18 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway*, the Honda Pilot is one of the best crossovers on the market today in regards to fuel economy. Unlike many 90s SUVs, the Honda Pilot is streamlined for aerodynamics, allowing it to flow along the road without a great deal of wind resistance.
Since Touring is the most feature-packed trim in the Pilot lineup, one can say without reservation that Pilot Touring is the single top-of-the-line Honda SUV. With respect to utility and convenience, the Honda Pilot EX-L is not far behind though.
The 2021 Honda Pilot offers ample passenger and cargo space, a composed ride, and about average fuel economy for the midsize SUV class. The Pilot isn't a top pick, however, because of its poor predicted reliability rating and limited set of standard infotainment features.
Exterior FeaturesThe EX-L, the elite trim level of the EX, comes standard with a power moonroof, whereas the LX does not. The 4WD EX comes with heated mirrors, whereas both the 2WD and 4WD LX come with only standard mirrors.
The solution is to click on the physical Phone button, and answer “No” to the question “Would you like to pair to a phone?”. From the resulting menu select Phone Setup, then Bluetooth Setup, then scroll down to Delete Device, and then delete away to your heart's content.
