If you decide to put in the effort and dedication that it takes to succeed, do so quietly and without pride. Then the Lord will know who you are truly working for. "I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
Nehemiah 8:10 Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.
For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing" (Romans 7:15, 18b-19).
but the Lord examines their heart. Doing things your own way is temporal, it doesn't last but when you do things God's way, it is permanent because doing things God's way leads to life not destruction.
Our giving is a reminder of the blessings God gives us and gave to us through Jesus Christ." We find in John 3:16 three thoughts that should be the foundation of all our giving. God's motivation for giving was love; he gave himself in the person of Jesus; and God gave in response to our need.

In Proverbs 3:9-10 we find this command: “Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine.” In our finances, we are expected to give our BEST and FIRST to God!
What is God's rest? 1 The rest God is talking about is not rest from your daily work or physically exhausted when you have worked hard. It is that profound peace that God gives to those who love and obey Him regardless of circumstances. It is peace that involves the whole faculty as the Bible Dictionary stipulates.
: the part that is left when other people or things are gone, used, etc. : the remainder You bring these bags in, and I'll bring the rest.
Today we have five more ways that God wants to give you rest this summer: Rest from Troubles: God wants you to enjoy the gift of stillness. “Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him …” Psalm 37:7, NIV. Rest from Anxiety: God wants to bring you peace.
So, let's take at look at 4 Biblical steps you can use to cast your burdens on the Lord and climb out of your pit.
- SAY IT. SPEAK.
- SOAK IN SCRIPTURE. Get into God's word!!
- SING, SING, SING! Our adversary HATES worship.
- SURROUND YOURSELF WITH WARRIORS. God did not design you to carry your burdens alone.
Spiritual yokes can be anything that has influence or a hold over us negatively. A yoke in the spiritual sense can prevent us from achieving our destiny.
Nothing is too hard or difficult for God. Mark 10:27 “And JESUS looking upon them saith, WITH MEN IT IS IMPOSSIBLE, but not with God: FOR WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE”. Matthew 19:26 “But JESUS beheld them, and said unto them, WITH MEN THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE; BUT WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE”.
Explanation and Commentary of Matthew 11:28God does not promise a life devoid of hardship, but for those who have attempted to carry their own burdens and earn their own salvation, it is water to a man in a desert who is dying of thirst. Jesus saw that humanity was harassed and helpless (Mt 9:36).
To follow the Lord means we accept His very words to His disciples: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Amidst suffering and pain, we follow the Lord and take the yoke and learn from Him. Our lives will be light and easy because we keep his Word and live by it.
FOUR WAYS TO MAKE SURE YOU REALLY GIVE IT TO GOD AND LET IT GO
- Position yourself. Seek God and bow before him (this is a heart position, but if you feel like getting on your knees or facedown, you can do that, too).
- Stand in faith. Read the Bible.
- Face your issues.
- Start celebrating.
“That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB): Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
