All you have to do is tap on Settings, tap on General, tap on Keyboard, and then switch the Split Keyboard to off. You should see the keyboard go right back to the way it was originally. Any iPad with Apple Pencil support can be connected to a Mac device by Sidecar. If you are using an iPad without Apple Pencil support, you can purchase Duet on the App Store and work with that, it can even connect to Windows PCs.
