If you hide yourself, your own video display disappears from your screen, leaving more room to see other participants.

You can access the Device Manager by right-clicking the Windows "Start" button and then selecting "Device Manager" from the pop-up menu. Double-click "Audio Inputs and Outputs" to reveal the internal microphone. Double-click "Imaging Devices" to view the built-in webcam.

Open your Zoom app on your desktop. Click on Settings. On the Audio tab, click the checkbox 'Always mute the microphone when joining a meeting' at the bottom of the screen. On the Video tab, click the checkbox ' Always turn off video when joining meeting' at the bottom of the page under the Meetings heading.
When you are in a Zoom meeting and you are muted, hold the spacebar when you want to talk and the Zoom window is in focus. Your screen will show a message indicating that you are temporarily unmuted and the microphone will appear green when you talk.
The Zoom web client allows joining a Zoom meeting or webinar without downloading any plugins or software. However, the web client has limited features and functions best on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Chromium Edge.

- Sign in to the Zoom app.
- Tap Start Meeting.

- If this is your first time joining a Zoom meeting from this device, you will be asked to allow Zoom permission to access the camera and microphone.

Open the video/audio settings of the capture/streaming software on your computer. The software should recognize the video capture device and therefore your camcorder as a webcam. You should then see the live stream from the camcorder on your computer display.
