Dual Screen Setup for Desktop Computer Monitors
- Right-click on your desktop and select "Display".
- From the display, select the monitor you wish to be your main display.
- Check the box that says "Make this my main display." The other monitor will automatically become the secondary display.
- When finished, click [Apply].
The Zoom Rooms controller lets you choose the video layout that displays on Zoom Rooms screens. In Zoom Rooms with one screen, tap Change View on the controller to choose the layout. In Zoom Rooms with multiple screens, toggle the icon to switch between Active Speaker and Gallery views.
Click your profile picture then click Settings. Click the Share Screen tab. Click the Side-by-Side Mode check box. Zoom will automatically enter side-by-side mode when a participant starts sharing their screen.

The dual-monitor display feature allows the video layout and screen share content to be placed on two separate monitors/screens. Gallery or speaker view can be displayed on one monitor while the other monitor displays a content share.
You can be signed in to Zoom on one computer, one tablet, and one phone at a time. If you sign into an additional device while logged into another device of the same type, you will be logged out automatically on the first device.
Overview. Multiple screens can be shared and viewed in a Zoom Room simultaneously. This content can be screens shared by remote participants or screens shared within the room. Each shared screen can be assigned to a display.
Starting a new screen share and optimizing for full-screen video
- Click Share Screen located in your meeting controls. Learn more about screen sharing.
- Select the screen you want to share and select Optimize for video clip.
- Click Share to begin sharing.
- Start playing your video in full-screen while sharing your screen.
Consider the Windows Magnifier ToolIf the images on the desktop are larger than usual, the problem could be the zoom settings in Windows. If the Magnifier is set to Full-screen mode, the entire screen is magnified. Your operating system is most likely using this mode if the desktop is zoomed in.
The order of participants in the Zoom gallery is the order in which participants enable (turn on) their video camera. The exception here is that the current user is always in the top middle slot.
Start or join a meeting. Tap the Camera Control icon. Use the icons on the Camera Control popup to zoom and pan until the camera is in the position you need. Tap Done to return to the meeting controls.
Why Did My Screen Resolution Suddenly Change? There can be many different reasons as to why screen resolution changes on its own. The most common reasons include outdated device drivers, incorrectly set Windows options, misbehaving services, malfunctioning hardware components and much more.
To access settings in the Zoom desktop client:
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click your profile picture, then click Settings. This will open the settings window, giving you access to the following options:
