At an affordable price tag of just under $200, the Oculus Go is a popular choice for those just getting into the VR world. It is half the price of the Oculus Rift—the VR headset that Beat Saber is truly compatible with. The good news is, you can play Beat Saber on Oculus Go, but it takes a bit of “hacking” your system.
If you're new to VR and want to give it a try, then you should absolutely get the Oculus Go. It's affordable, and you're getting a lot of good stuff for just around $200. The Oculus Go headset is light and comfortable to wear.

For those unfamiliar, the Oculus Browser lets you visit any normal web page while also including support for virtual worlds built with WebVR.
Quest 2 is the second 6DOF mobile VR headset from Oculus and improves on the original Quest with a faster processor, higher resolution screen, larger storage options, and a significantly lower price. Rift S is a desktop VR headset. + hand tracking has wider range because of extra cameras on the side of the headset.
Although the Oculus Quest 2 is our top pick for the best standalone headset, the original Oculus Quest is still a great choice if you're looking for an untethered VR headset that doesn't need an expensive computer to power it.

Oculus Go is a wonderful VR headset that's easy to jump into with a great motion controller to play games with. That's right, PS4, Switch and (some) Xbox One controllers can all be linked up with your Go.
According to a report in Bloomberg, Facebook had been planning to release a new version of the Oculus Quest later this year, though the smaller, lighter headset is now likely being delayed to a 2021 launch due to the coronavirus pandemic.
