A Minecraft update that lets players create a world on a console or Windows PC and continue building it on a mobile phone has been released. The Better Together Update also lets people team up with friends regardless of what platform they are using – Xbox, Windows, Apple, Google or virtual reality.

Java Edition only runs on Windows, Linux, and OS X computers.Step 1: Download the trial version of the marketplace for the account that does not have the game. Title update 73, the final Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition update, came out earlier this week. 4J Studios, the main console developer, announced the update on Twitter. While it has been a long time coming, 4J announced the move in May, it is still bittersweet for the studio and fans.
Minecraft for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will include bigger worlds to explore than its PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 counterparts, but will not feature the same infinite worlds as the original Windows PC version, according to developer 4J Studios.
Go to settings>system>storage>games and apps>Minecraft. Click the y button on Minecraft and delete and re-download. You need an Xbox live account to update it.
Just to be clear, this is the list so far
- Plant trees in the Nether.
- Create a mob trap.
- Beat a zombie to death with a shovel.
- Run through the forest at night, no armor or weapons.
- Build a city in the sky.
- Beat countless mobs to death with only your fists.
The game control to place the crafting table depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click on the block.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap on the block.
- For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS3 and PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
Unfortunately, Fortnite cannot be played on the PS3. While many still play games using their PS3, it's unlikely that Epic Games will release the game on PS3 in the future.
I hope that this helps out! Cross play on Minecraft is only available to xbox one, mobile, nintendo switch and windows 10 devices which has the better together/bedrock edition. Realms is only available on these version of the game. Can not do cross play between different version of the game.
Click the blue "Connect" button underneath the Xbox logo and sign in using your Xbox Live account. Once connected, you will be able to use the cross-play feature with other players on different platforms.
