One of the best and least expensive ways to get access to HBO right now is through Hulu. Hulu is offering HBO as an add-on to their live TV streaming service for only $4.99 per month. If you're already a Hulu subscriber just simply log into your account and go to settings to see where you can add it for $4.99.

HBO Max hasn't been available on Roku since the streaming service launched at the end of May, and WarnerMedia recently made an agreement with Amazon so Fire TV and Fire tablet users could access the app.
Through Google, HBO Max will have an app for Android phones and tablets in the Google Play store, and you'll be able to sign up inside the app with an in-app purchase. You'll also be able to stream HBO Max on Android TV, Chromebook and Google Chromecast.
