The New York City Administration for Children's Services (ACS) is a governmental agency that protects and promotes safety and well-being of New York City's children and families by providing child welfare, juvenile justice, and early care and education services.
ACS has to complete their investigation within 60 days. Then ACS will decide whether your case is indicated or unfounded and will send you a letter with this information. During their investigation, ACS will look into every aspect of your family's life. This call might be made anonymously.
